Very good

A very nice midi keyboard...perfect for live shows....Easily assigned every single fader and pads as my wish and superbly built. The wireless is also good, as I can get down from stage and play from within the crowd...no glitch at all...act seamlessly with my Ableton Live ...Three Ribbon Banks are superb,also the octave and sustain switches are perfect.Only no transpose button ...Have to transpose within its own alesis interface in my laptop...you can save transposed program in its software and play through program change. Pads are RGB colored, soft and fast reacting....Though Keybed is not like my FA 06 or my Samson Graphite...but with after touch it is quite good...Battery life is very good in wireless mode...Only one thing ...it has an angular lower end..and can't be placed on any guitar stand upright on stage...also the belt alesis provides with this keytar is just 3rd class...Over all I am satisfied...Thanks to amazon for perfect delivery....

Very good for live stages

Cons:1. The packaging was damaged from atleast three sides. It seemed someone had already opened the product. It was a shock. How can a product like this be delivered in such a bad way?!!2. Alesis Website shows they provide 4 AA batteries with this product. But those were missing from my package.3. The provided strap is simply a third class one. You're sure to drop it unless it is not reinforced with either DIY way or clips.4. The manual is certainly not exhaustive. You have to ask around, Google and watch semi-professional, "un-mastered" video tutorials but still get ready to face the difficulty even if you have some previous midi experience.5. No battery percentage indicator. No mention anywhere of how long the batteries will last in wireless mode.6. The most infamous note-stuck issue has not been resolved completely even after the latest firmware update. I faced it at least 5 times in 2 days.7. Performs better in some DAWs but worse in some other DAWs, hence inconsistent.8. A separate panic button (instead of customizing a pad as a panic button in every preset) would have been better.9. Highly overpriced! You can get a full fledged professional midi keyboard for serious composition at half the price.10. As of today, no proper bag is available unless you obtain a custom-made one.11. You must install and use the patch editor software to fully customise this keytar. For a newbie, it might be hard due to nonavailability of decent detailed official video except some made by individuals who presume you have a good understanding of how this thing works in any DAW.Pros;1. Good build. Stylish look.2. Good accelerometer / tilt control to simulate a real guitar in your live performance.3. Customizable sliders and pad colors.4. Responsive keys. Good feel.5. Some decent bundled sofware.6. Portability.. a big plus.7. Convenient octave shift, split, tilt sensor buttons.8. Good placement of programmable modulation control.9. Extra long compartment at the back side to store usb cable and the wireless dongle.Verdict: Not recommended if you're into serious composition but good for playing live and jam session with friends.

It is perfect for the price. Tried everything other than midi connection.. The product seems to be premium , keys size is good and its weight is also not much.. Overall nice one. We can also connect it with mobile with OTG cable and use with bandlab.Cons: The preset editor software stucks something or show doesn't connect to vortex So uninstalling and installing each time ,it may be because of old software. I doesn't know why. It's a premium class keytar by look and also u cn use ur Keyboard sound directly also.
