Hallowood Waverly Oak DVD Cabinet

Ideal narrow storage for dvd's. OK some are obscured from view down the sides due to the design but it's an excellent storage solution for me and I'm very happy with it. It's fully assembled, which is a huge bonus, the quality is outstanding.

Matches my furniture perfectly, all my CDs and Videos neatly stored inside and out of sight. A Good looking piece of furniture for a reasonable price.

A nicely finished and attractive cabinet. However do bear in mind the doors don't cover the full width of the shelf. When full there will be a number of CD/DVD's stuck behind the wood near the hinge - you won't be able to remove them unless you take some out from the middle and shuffle the rest across to allow space to lever them out . I knew this beforehand - the little tucked away corner is about 4 CD's / 3 DVD wide so 8 CD's / 6 DVD per shelf will be tricky to remove if the shelf is full. I am OK with this - I plan to put box sets or empty cases there .Next you should plan on securing it to a wall - its too risky leaving it freestanding in a busy part of your house - it will topple over with a slight knock on a carpeted or uneven floor . You will need to buy your own furniture ties. The ones supplied are useless - too short and no wall fixing supplied. Rather than drilling holes in the cabinet I plan to put a loop around the top and screw that to the wall .Lastly the magnetic door clips on a strip of wood for the top of the doors were left loose in the box . Whether it was meant to be screwed in place or just stapled / glued wasn't clear - either way it wasn't fitted . I was going to drill new holes to fit the wood strip / clips but decided to leave it - the magnetic clips at the bottom seem to hold the doors closed OK. It does mean there is no door stop at the top.The above not withstanding - I am actually pleased with it !

Ayeup me duck.Purchased this item to replace a larger bulkier cupboard. A little bit dubious initially. Have I done the right thing. Sorted out my dvd collection as to the ones to keep. Trip to local charity shop with ones no longer needed. Still had a lot I wanted to keep. Will my new storage cupboard take them, swallowed them up easily. Great buy. Good value. Delivery very good.Well pleased.
