CompTIA Tech+ CertMike: Prepare. Practice. Pass the Test! Get Certified!: Exam FC0-U71 (CertMike Get Certified) 2nd Edition

Due to recent exam changes to the ITF+ exam, the Tech+ exam is the replacement exam, and this book is great if you have been preparing and planning to take the ITF+, but would like to pass the updated exam, as there is some overlapping content, along with the additional content on the exam that is covered in this book.

While the ITF+ version of the book and author was great and par with the exam question, this text is a downgrade.First for the same price the Tech+ version of the book is completely in black and white. The color formatting in the ITF+ book is great and helpful as a visual study; not the Tech+.The Tech+ book is a revamp of 80-90% of the the ITF+ book plus additional chapters on cloud and AI. But very light stuff.Perhaps the most disappointing is the complete miss on the types of questions found during the exam (which I passed). The ambiguity of the Tech+ exam questions, the lack of clarity bordering on the "tricky" side really bothered me. This text does not prepare you for that. The ITF+ questions are far more straightforward and really test knowledge of the material covered in the book.All in all the ITF+ book and exam are a more solid offering than the Tech+. Both Tech+ and ITF+ are life certifications. CompTIA "retiring" the ITF+ certification is not taking it away from you. To me the ITF+ cert is superior in testing.
