I purchased this or a senior family member. The bed rail was easy to assemble and adjust the height to fit. The legs really added to the extra stability. It is not too wide that it interferes with getting in and out of bed. It may work on couches with removable cushions. The light is not something that is necessarily needed at this time, but it is a nice bonus feature. I like the fact that the light is rechargeable. The pouch is great for holding small items like a phone or magazine. I would definitely recommend for anyone with limited mobility.

There are several pockets to hold glasses, remotes, books; sectioned off to organize. Will be share with my patients in the future.

This device is extremely well made. I will be 80 years old next month, about 265 pounds, and I am needing help getting into and out of bed. This device has provided exactly the kind of help I am needing. I had some difficulty assembling it but don't let that dissuade you from ordering one. If my son had been with me, we would have had it done in about 15 minutes. With this, I no longer risk twisting my back getting out of bed and I can lower myself instead of falling into bed. I can grab this and help myself turn over in bed. I am considering getting a second one for the other side of my bed. This device is a great value for the price!

I purchased for my 90 year old mom when she hurt her back. It works great for her and allowed her to move out if recliner and back to bed. This one stands out over others that require a strap under box spring to secure. It was easy to assemble and install. The motion light sounded good but requires charging so we are not using it. Otherwise, it was worth the money and I would recommend.
