Convenient and Affordable Smart Plug
I’ve been using the GHome Smart Plug for a few months now, and it’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. The setup was straightforward—just plug it in, download the app, and connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It integrates seamlessly with both Alexa and Google Home, allowing for easy voice control of connected devices. The scheduling feature is particularly useful; I have my living room lamp set to turn on at sunset and off at bedtime, which adds convenience and helps save energy. The compact design is a plus, as it doesn’t block adjacent outlets. One thing to note is that it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so ensure your router is compatible. Also, while the app is functional, it could be more intuitive.Overall, the GHome Smart Plug offers excellent value for its price, providing reliable performance and useful features for anyone looking to enhance their smart home experience.

Awesome Smart Plug!
This smart plug is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it for my fountain/bird bath and it works like a charm. The app makes it a breeze to use; just set the timer and forget about it. It also ties seamlessly into my smartphone app.

Easy app to use. Works great as long as wi-fi is working near the plug.
Control the plug from anywhere with the app as long as you have wi-fi. I use it to turn on a lamp when I am not at home. Also, can be programmed to come on and off at specific times.

Great Buy
This product works great. I was able to have some of my lights turn on in the house using the app which was very easy to use. I like how I can change the on and off or change the schedule when I am not at home. My only issue is that the device does get rather warm when it is plugged in. Otherwise, this this is a great addition to smart home devices.

Handy little device.
I'm not much for digital gimmicks. I can heat my coffee, turn my thermostat up and down and do just about everything else without help from Alexa. Plus I don't need Mark Zuckerburg knowing what time I leave the house every day. I use this outlet in the winter to shut off the furnace at night when the cat in on my lap, and I don't want to move him off to get to the thermostat. In the summer we have a portable swamp cooler on the back porch blowing in through the patio door screen. I don't want to open the screen to turn it off at night because of bugs, so I installed this. Now I can turn it off with my phone. We've also used it when we are away from home to turn on a living room light. All it needs is your house wifi to work. You can control it from anywhere with your phone. At $10, I think it was a good buy. It was easy to set up, and easy to use.

Great timer!
I love these!! I bought them to set a timer on my plant grow lights and since then I’ve used them to plug my curling iron into because I always forget to turn that thing off and I’m a hair dresser for crying out loud😂😂 I can just get in my phone and turn it right off. The app is super user friendly. You can set any type of timer you could imagine! I’m very happy with my purchase!

reset after it quit working
These little plugs work great for indoor lights, and also for our low voltage driveway lights (transformer is inside). There are two features I really like: The "Random" setting, and the "Astronomical" setting. The astronomical setting is handy for the driveway lights, since I can set it to turn on 1/2 hour before local sunset time. I don't have to keep adjusting the dial as with traditional timers.I've seen complaints from other buyers that stated that these quit working after a few months. I had that same problem, but here's what I did to solve that problem.1) unplug and replug the device2) clear the cache - now this part is a little obscure.on the main screen (shows all your connected devices)click on "Me" icon at bottom of screenin the new screen, in the top right corner, you'll see a nut iconclick on the nut iconscroll to the bottom of that screen where it says "Clear Cache", hit that buttonAt this point, everything should be back to normal.I didn't see this guidance anywhere on the vendors documentation...Hope this helps other buyers. If it wasn't for this idiosyncrasy, I'd give it 5 starts.
