QC isn't up to standard and too loud for the wrong reasons
Disappointing to have received the unit with some damage to the radiator fins, as it was a great deal on offer for around £170, for what would usually be around £300+ for a branded product like this. I had noticed this too late, before drilling a 125mm hole out my wall!Amazon were great in terms of replacing the item, however, the replacement had similar damage (must be an issue at QC level for 2 of these to have issues) and therefore I am returning for a refund this time round. In terms of the AC unit itself, it is very bulky for a 9000btu unit and not as quiet as advertised, and it has nothing to do with the compressor or fan, as that would obviously be fairly audible. It is infact the rattling of the cheap plastic housing of the unit itself! I previously used a 20 year old 12000btu portable AC unit (nearly the same size as this unit) which was no longer working efficiently, however, the noise was markedly quieter as the materials used were of a much higher standard (rigid plastics). The only noise you had to deal with were simply the fan and compressor. Also hard to comment on it's performance as I had not bought during summer, but it did blow out cold air, dropping the temp from 22c to 18c in under an hour, though bare in mind, this was during the month of February.I was willing to deal with the rattling, as it's nothing that can't be dealt with some strategically placed gaffa tape and the other functions such as WiFi/smart control would have been ideal for coming back to a pre-cooled room on a hot summer's day, but the various damages on a new item, make this unacceptable, sadly.

All good and chill
Got it when the price dropped to £155. It can make your room cold, it has wifi connection and control by alexa, and multiple mounting kits included in the package. With this under £200 i dont think it can go wrong getting it for the summer. The downsides i can think of is that the plastic they used for the outter shell is quite thin and cheap, and it's not that silent even in silent mode. All in all, it's a still a good buy for a functioning and working ac for the summer .

Hose is too large and too SHORT
Have not been able to even use it because the hose is so short it doesn’t reach the window. You can’t find replacements for it either because the diameters of the hose and unit are so big. We now have just a giant fan.
