No safety incorporated. Highly unsafe.
The item was already powered on and don't know how long it would have been in this state, which will determine the battery life. Poor safety on the device. Given that this a high current rated device, a cover should have been provided over the terminals to prevent accidental contact. Very unsafe and poor design.
