Excellent quality! I mounted this to my out of use chimney with ease. It might be too short for some setups depending on how high above the ground your Tempest is from the roofline. Very easy to mount, just make sure you don't drop any of the mounting materials. While the setup seems intuitive, I would have appreciated if there were some instructions provided just for the sake of knowing what the preferred order of the spacers is.

Don't bother with cheapo imitation "universal mounts. This one is seriously stable and strong. Great stainless hardware so no staining the wall or eve, aluminum tube and mounting bracket all powder coated. Once installed it is super strong and having tried a POS inferior product, I'll trust my $300 purchase to this one!

I’ve had this weather station now for a few months and it works well except for one thing, and that is wind speed readings. I think it’s at least 10mph or more too low. I contacted customer service and they said my device was too close to my house and not high enough. Mine is mounted about 8ft off the ground. They also said it must be in clear air for at least 50 yards. Well, my one story house is south and only about 15 yards from the device. So, i’ll admit it is not going to get good readings from wind blowing from south to north. However, east, west and north winds are completely open with clear air for more than 100 yards in each direction. Here in Oklahoma we get some strong winds and these past few months have seen some days with 40 mph north winds and gusts over 60. One gust blew my covered smoker off of my porch and into the yard. When I looked at the wind history on the app it showed sustained winds generally around 20 mph and the highest gust was 32mph. The tv weather was showing sustained winds around 35mph and gusts over 60. Everything else about this weather station is too notch. I just wish they would adjust their software to display wind speed a little closer to what we experience.

The mount is great - no problems and easy to mount.

super easy to mount and square up. This mount holds the weather station up and away from the structure its attached to. seemed a bit pricey but made the correct installation much easier.

The mount works great for my Tempest Weather Station head unit, using the mount on the bottom of the weather station. We have had wicked wind since I installed it 5 months ago and the unit has not moved. Very sturdy.
