Replacement for Google-Chromecast-Remote, for Chromecast with Google TV Remote 4K/HD & Google TV Streamer 4K(Only for Snow Chromecast Google)

Good remote replacement for Google Chromecast, I have the 4K Chromecast and my dog chewed my original remote up, bought this one and it works like the original, easy to setup, you have to ethier have your old remote or use Google Home remote on your phone to set up the new one, at least I had to, other then that it's pretty good, 10/10.

The solar-powered remote that came with my 2023 frame TV stopped working; it could hold a charge but the TV couldn't recognize it. After several weeks of trying to fix it, I purchased this battery powered remote. It works perfectly and I can use my Frame TV again. I don't know how long the two AA batteries will work, or if this remote will crap out in a matter of months, but being able to turn on and off the TV again, switch the art, and use the TV channels is exactly what I was hoping for.

I only bought this as it claims to not be compatible with Roku Ultra, and I didn't believe that statement. I was right. It works fine with the Ultra's IR receiver. So if you have a Roku that uses both RF and IR, this remote works fine. Worth $10 just to be able to say that.Certainly would not work with an RF only receiver. Also does not start my car by remote.Granted, there's no power button or voice control. But that's fine. Voice control is creepy anyway. Plus I was able to clone the Disney+ launch signal into my universal remote. Which doesn't have voice control either, but does have a power button.I considered knocking off a star because the remote was obviously refurbished, but hey... Most 'new' products are anyway. I could tell because there was no original packaging, instructions, and the protective film was all wrinkly and crooked.Works fine. Looks new. Clones to programmable universal remotes. Won't change channels no matter how loudly you shout at it. Doesn't start my car or get the neighbor's dog to stop barking. Still worth it.

original stopped working, this one took over just great!

Works just like the original remote. It was very easy to pair with the chromecast. The only trouble I had was with the batteries. I tried using Energizer and Duracell but they wouldn’t work. Finally had luck with the Rayovac so I guess the remote only works with certain size batteries.

Remote control works great. I had to connect my Chromecast to my phone and use it as a remote in order to get to the pairing mode as the instructions tell you to do. My Chromecast does not have a pairing button. (If you don't know how to do that part and your CC doesn't have the button, I do not think you'll be able to pair it easily.)Once I figured out how to get to that part, this remote works the same as my original remote my dog chewed up. Great remote.

This is now the second one we've bought. The first was identical from a different vendor, but I'm sure it's the exact same e-waste garbage from both vendors. I thought the first one might have been a lemon, and we just had bad luck given all the positive reviews. But nope. Both don't work. They work at the beginning ok. Then, the buttons stop registering or go absolutely crazy. Super frustrating. You can't get an official replacement from Google anymore. It's absurd that we'd have to buy an entire new streamer. Google doesn't make this anymore. So we have to spend more on their new thing or switch services. Ugh. No other remotes work. You can only find these garbage replacements from several vendors on Amazon. Nowhere else. All this cheap plastic electronic waste is so depressing. Why should I have to buy more garbage when I have something that works completely fine and just needs a new remote? Why don't these vendors make something that actually works? I can't believe these remotes have worked for anyone. I assume the other reviews were made before their replacements went haywire. Do NOT buy.
