This keyboard ruined my life in a good way.
Let me start off by saying that I LOVE this thing. I bought it to be my work keyboard, something cheap as opposed to my $300 DROP CTRL setup at home. I'm now contemplating on selling my CTRL just to buy another one of these.Upon getting it, I knew it was gonna be cheaper, but I didnt expect it to actually perform well. I got the linear switches in grey and oh man... it was great. The sound and feel are AMAZING. Very crisp, solid, and satisfying. So far, I've swapped the switches out for silent Fairy switches, and swapped out the keycaps for something that matches my preferences. The silent switches make this thing feel even softer but also keep it very satisfying to type on. Needless to say, this keyboard is now VERY SILENT. The most noise I hear is my finger making contact with the keys. I'll try to upload a video of it!BUY THIS KEYBOARD!! You WILL NOT regert it.

Easy to Modify, and useful features
I like clicky Keyboards so I bought this knowing I was not going to be satisfied with either key switch choice. I bought (here on Amazon) Kailh Box Jades key switches and switched them out. It’s a very easy process. I also changed the key caps to Manga keycaps which I bought on Amazon for around $30. See the picture for final result. Pulling keycaps off didn’t remove the switches, unlike other keyboards. Sounds and feels amazing when typing. The 2.4 GHz USB snaps into a magnetic holding slot in the back. It’s a very solid and hefty keyboard, being plastic does not make this board feel cheap. It has an extra USB-C passthrough port in addition to the USB-C charging port. Knob is tactile and has a satisfying bump when pressed or twisted. Power, mode changes and volume are controlled by the knob with visuals on the small screen. Having a battery level indicator is great. Only minus is no VIA and so you need to download and install software for macros and lighting customization, but if this does not bother you then this is definitely worth getting.

After modifications (I wish they weren't necessary), this is now my favorite keyboard
This is my second RK keyboard, and I had a similar experience with this one, as I did the last one. There are things about this keyboard I absolutely love, and also some annoyances right out of the box.First of all, I love the base keyboard (but not the keys themselves), it's somewhat heavy, solid and sturdy. I just wish they would make their base boards with multiple color options. This one is gray, and that's fine, but I would have preferred it in basic black. I also love the pale green switches -- they are my favorite of all I have used.I feel like I need to say that I love mechanical keyboards, and I'm willing to do a little customization, but I don't really want to build one from scratch and swap switches and do tape modes and stuff like that. I want creamy and deep thocky right out of the box. This keyboard nearly achieves that.Unfortunately the keys are terrible, feel cheap and clicky, and the colors are meh, and the knob seems very cheap. Like, this keyboard has south facing leds, but the keycaps are NOT shine through. What was the thinking there? Unless you can type blindfolded, you can't use this in a darkened room. And the LED shining between the caps instead of through them makes it harder to see, not easier. Also, I wish they had an app to go with it so you could program per key led lighting choices/effects, instead of just a few obvious generic effects. So I spent $15 for a set of side facing PBT keycaps, $7 for a pair of textured aluminum knobs (I only needed one), spent about an hour replacing the stock keys and knob and now I have my new favorite keyboard -- it's a joy to type on!I guess I just don't get why RK only seems to go half the distance here towards making a quality product. Much of it is awesome, but because of some head scratching choices, I had to modify the keyboard to get something that felt premium all around. So if you are looking for a good base board, and plan to make some mods yourself -- this is a good choice. Since it is my favorite keyboard (now, after mods), I have to give it 4 stars, but it could have, should have been 5 stars. Otherwise, just sell bare bones boards and let people plan to mod it, instead of them getting it and modding it because some of the defaults are substandard choices. My keyboard now, is 5 stars easy, and I love it. The keyboard right out of the box is 3 stars. So that's why I am giving it 4 stars. It's definitely worth buying, but only if you plan to make changes.

Is this the right keyboard for you?
The media could not be loaded. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I must say I was a bit intimidated moving into this market knowing how expensive keyboards can get. However, I can say with confidence that the Royal RK M75 exceeded my expectations as an entry level keyboard. At its current price point, the Royal RK is cheaper than the “luxury” keyboards, yet holds a lot of features that makes these higher price keyboards so special. Built with a solid frame, thick keycaps, and the ability to connect to several different computers wirelessly, I would consider this one of the best mechanical keyboards you can get for under $100

Does the job
The key clacks are audibly pleasing. Have had it for a while now and no issues at all. I keep it wired.
