Q: What size will fit my 7 year old grandson

I ordered a large for my 8 yr old. He was wearing a size 8 shirts. It was a little long in the sleeves but not bad. He’s now more a size 10 and it fits fine. He is tall for his age so we have to size up to fit his torso.

Q: Does it have elastic around the bottom?

No it does not have elastic at the bottom.

Q: Does the fleece pill with washing or in high rub places (underside of arms/cuffs)?

No it doesn't, it is made of good material. I purchased this for my second grader so the treatment it is given is ruff.
