This light is too cute!!! Batteries lasted about two weeks using all night as a night light, will probably last longer if used sparingly (there's no power cord on this). It's got ambient lighting that changes colors, not super bright but perfect for the night light purposes we got it for. It's decently built, very cute!

My tween daughter picked this out with birthday money from her uncle. She absolutely loves it. She immediately replaced the unicorn lap from three years ago. It changes colors. Low light. Great for before bedtime routines. It is a whimsical addition to a preteen room.

I got this for my step-son for Christmas and it’s been a nightly light and still haven’t had to change batteries or notice any dimming.It’s a cute little lamp and what kid doesn’t like Minecraft or axolotls or both? For the month it is better quality than i thought it would be and it’s light weight too if your child wants to use it as a toy. Super easy to setup and use as well.

I bought this Minecraft Axolotl lamp for my daughter because she’s a big fan of the game and loves axolotls. The design is really well done it’s colorful, fun, and adds a special touch to her gaming desk.It has five color modes, and the light changes smoothly from one shade to another, which creates a very nice atmosphere in her room, especially at night. It works great as a night light or just for decoration.The only downside and why I’m giving it 4 stars is that it didn’t come with batteries. It may seem like a small detail, but when we opened the box and couldn’t use it right away, it was a bit disappointing, especially for my daughter who was really excited.Other than that, it’s a lovely lamp and does exactly what it says. I’d just recommend the manufacturer include everything needed so it’s ready to use right out of the box.

i got this for my a birthday gift for my little sister and she absolutely adores it. the colors are nice and bright and vivid.

Color changing and different settings for a great night light. Sturdy construction and easy to use. Great value for the price. Great gift idea.

Update: I reached out to the company and they sent a replacement and it works! My son loves it and it is super cute when its lit. I appreciate this company for going above and beyond to make us happy, and I plan on purchasing more from them.I have purchased this item for my son twice, and in both instances, we have been unable to remove the screw to insert the batteries. I have tried every type and size of screwdriver, turning the screw both clockwise and counterclockwise. I even attempted to position the item upside down and on its side, but nothing worked! The screw just keeps spinning and does not move at all. As a result, it has become a cute paperweight that tips over easily. I would prefer to buy my son a possessed Furby that works without batteries rather than deal with this frustrating product!

My girlfriend absolutely loves her axolotl light. There’s a mode that makes the colors fade-that’s her favorite- overall, I think it’s worth how much it is!
