Extender needed for my application
After installing the Topens RK 1200T sliding gate opener, I couldn't program the 6 remotes I needed to operate the gate. I contacted customer support via their portal and explained the problem. They had me do a number of tests and send some photos. They decided that I needed this Topens ERM12 Universal External Receiver for my application. The sent me one free of charge. I installed it and the remotes programed easily. I can operate the gate from 100+ feet from our house. Very good product and excellent customer service. The entire gate system works well and is of good quality.

Didn't work for my application but the remote felt tougher than the factory clicker from Charlin.Returned and bought a different product from the same company.

This receiver is very easy to install and has good range. I recommend it although I decided to use a different setup.

Quality and customer service
We recently purchased a RX 2500T gate opener with accessories to be able to use more remote controls (ERM12). It was installed in the parking lot of a church and it is truly an excellent quality device.The customer service is the best of the best.They helped me with every question I had about this device. Topens beat all
Update. This thing does not increase the opening distance from gate at all. It was a waste of moneyI have a Topens sliding gate opener which I LOVE. I just wanted a bit more range to use the opener remote. Wasn't quite sure how to connect so I contacted Topen customer service. Zak wrote me immediately with directions to install.

Works great!
Works well and I can even open the gate from my front door which is approximately 250’ feet away from the gate itself. Great value for the price.
