Really excellent for those wanting to try some brown switches in a stylish package
Pros:- I love the way this thing looks. It's stylish and retro without being fully committed to the 80s cream color.- (could be considered a con) There's no Bluetooth or wireless, which kept the cost down. Because I work in a home office, I don't need wireless. Plus it keeps the latency down. If you want wireless, I believe they sell that version too with slight visual variation.- The brown switches feel really nice. I'm coming from MX Cherry Blue switches, which were getting a little too clicky for me.- Very satisfying sound.Cons:- This one comes down to personal preference. There's no tactile bump as you press each key. This errs on the side of being too mushy. The ideal keyboard would be this but maybe swapping the switches out with Ergo Clears. But they do feel soft and it's easy to type on so this is really just me nitpicking. Notably, you'll be bottoming out each key instead of pressing only until the actuation point in the middle due to the lack of tactile bump. So these lay somewhere between tactile and linear. HOWEVER, you may love it and this is exactly what you want. These feels nice, and I figure if you're here looking at this keyboard then you already have figured out that you want either brown or red switches.- The Esc key is really hard to read with the white text on yellow. The accent looks nice but you can't read that particular button, if you care about that.- There's no LED software, you have to learn the marcos to change the color schemes and patterns.- The light mostly just shines between the key caps, not through the key caps themselves. In all, I really love this thing and it's perfect for my setup. Typing is quiet now and it feels pretty good.

Wonderful keyboard with one exception!
I go through many keyboards. Not that I abuse them, but that I type around 44WPM and I like the clickety, spring keys instead of the quiet key like you have on a laptop. Keychron was shown to me on a site that reviews new technology so I ordered it here on Amazon. Thing is, it was also LED backlit. Well, the key feel is great, the look and ability to remove and add custom keys was great! But LED backlight it really fails at. You see, the keys are not transparent, nor are the letters/numbers symbols. So yes, it has great range of color settings for lighting, but it doesn't let you see the keys you type if room is dark. Sure, as a touch typist, its no big deal, but when I use the keyboard for gaming, and I don't customize default keys or modifiers, you do need to look sometimes. So I wanted to share that only flaw. If that doesn't matter, then this is an exceptional keyboard! Only 4 stars because of the backlighting. And note, Keychron does sell a kit of transparent keys, only its never in stock. Hope this helps!

VIA/QMK setup required flashing new firmware
After using the Keychron C2 Pro keyboard with red switches for a few months, the typing feel is very smooth and excellent.• The RGB lighting effects look good, but the default keycaps are not shine-through.• The VIA/QMK key remapping and macro application works, however initially there was a VIA "invalid protocol error" from the in-box firmware.• To fix the "invalid protocol error", you need to follow the Keychron website instructions to hold the reset button under the space bar, install the QMK toolbox, download and flash the latest firmware, download the JSON layout file, and then run VIA in draft V3 mode.• I was able to turn entire number pad function layer into a macro pad using the VIA browser app.• The caps lock key was remapped into another left copy of the right "fn" key, to avoid accidentally typing in all caps when the caps lock key was pressed by mistake (because accidentally pressing and releasing "fn" doesn't do anything).• The missing right-click menu, scroll lock, and pause/break keys were added back in the function layer, because they were removed by the Fn, Cortana/Siri, and RGB light keys respectively in the default keymap layout.• On Windows 11, I don't use Cortana at all, and the Cortana/Siri key got remapped to the new universal mute shortcut (WIN-ALT-K) for Teams conference calls.• I am guessing that the in-box firmware was for VIA V2, but the JSON file from Keychron website was in VIA V3 format, and likely the keyboard firmware needed to be upgraded to be VIA V3 compatible.

Phenomenal
I absolutely love this keyboard! I had no idea how much better my typing experience could be until my husband convinced me to try this keyboard. I love the look of it and the quality of the keyboard is top notch. The Bluetooth connectivity works extremely well. The brightness of the backlight is perfect in my opinion, you can change the color of the lights and if they change colors. I have yet to use this keyboard extensively not plugged in, but what I have seen of it, the battery life is very good.

Poor quality.
Very hollow sound and horrible customer service. Needed to reflash the keyboard and factory reset to even use VIA.
