Not all USB-C chargers are alike
This all started because my Samsung cell phone is difficult to charge. The phone seems to require a stiff source of current when it is first connected to a standard 25-watt USB-C charger, and its normal response is to just sit there and "buzz" annoyingly as if to say "Not charging; insufficient energy supply." Only by unplugging and reconnecting the charger cable could I get the phone to actually take on a charge. This phenomenon was common to all of the several small USB-C chargers to which I had access.Being frustrated by this action, I decided that the only solution would be to purchase a more-powerful charter and I settled on the Anker 317 USB-C charger because it carried a 100-watt rating. The Anker charger arrived, I connected the phone, and charging commenced without incident. I'm very pleased with the result. I will also say that the quality of the cable that came with the Anker charger is much better than that which I had been using; it would appear that there there are also differences in manufacturing quality of the USB-C cable connector themselves. One thing more – a bit of reflection on the past: When I worked as a switching power supply designer at Prime Computer in the 1980s, an objective was devise ways to bring the manufacturing cost of power supplies down to one dollar per watt output. And today, I have this little Anker charger that cost me, the end user, one-quarter of that!Ain't technology wonderful.

Fantastic Charger, Bit Simple Though
Besides the price being a tiny bit high, I wanted it so that I could charge my MSI laptop with USB-C and it required this high voltage. Although since then, I have started using to charge my iPhone 16 Plus, my Kindle, Airpods and I don't even know what else. The cable is a simple smooth rubber, the brick is very big but overall great quality and speed. With my other USB-C chargers my phone charges in a long time I feel like 20%-70% about an hour. However, with this one I think it takes around 20-30 minutes to do the same. Great for when I've been out of this house and in a rush.

As good as the apple brand
My original charger that came with my MacBook was left behind at a hotel. I ordered this one hoping it would be decent. It charges just as good as the apple one. It came with an extra long cord and seems very durable. My MacBook stays charged after removing it and it works very well. It doesn’t get hot at all. My battery life has actually improved since using this one.

Great to charge your laptop on the go
All the ANKER products I've had are great, and this one is no exception. I bought it to charge my laptop on the go, and it actually does a great job. My device's screen says it's slow charging due to the voltage, but I find it charges super fast. Compared to the charger that came with my laptop, it's small and portable. I love it.

Great (as always)!
Charges great! I haven’t checked the actual output to see if the wattage really is what it says on the description, but I know Anker always has great reliable products. It charged my laptop and phone super quick! It’s very reliable, compact, and looks really sleek. Definitely getting my future chargers from anker!

Works fine but thicker than expected
Works fine but it's not as much smaller than Mac's chargers as I'd hoped. I suspected that since there was no photo showing a comparative thickness, that this charger was the same or thicker than the Mac one. I was 100% correct. That said, this one is lighter a bit smaller and much cheaper, so overall a good product. I wanted to post photos of the thickness so that other consumers would be properly informed :)

Type C-C port charger: 100/10 recommend
I've had the charger for quite a while now and it still works. I had bought it for my chromebook but now I still use it for my other devices. It doesn't overheat and charges at a excellent rate. The USB cable has a good length to it.Highly recommend

Good for a few months but then mostly worthless.. Edit.. Changed to 5 stars
Makes a good first impression and worked well for 8 months or so but lately it trickle charges many items that it used to charge quickly. Due to this I must let people know that it may have a quicker shelf life than anticipated and I would not buy again.Edit: Changing review to a 5 star due to customer service. Company reached out and replaced my unit well after it would be covered. Very impressed with effort they went to after my initial review. New unit seems to work just fine.
