We used this to clean our toilet tanks, which get crusty due to hard water. It works well for that task. The powder is easier to manage (e.g. strength) than a pre-mixed fluid like vinegar. The citric account acid is mixed with warm water and poured in an empty (inlet water turned off) toilet tank. Flush after a half hour or so and the crusty deposits are gone.Others may use this for cooking.

We have really bad water stains in our toilet and this powder worked amazingly well. I’ve also used it to clean out my washing machine and coffee maker. There is no bad after flavor in my coffee after i’ve cleaned the coffee potThis is a great value and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than a lot of products that I’ve been using from the store.
