Fantastic product, really love it, looks great in my bathroom! My friend (a GB Olympic rower) had the earlier version of this which was very good and convinced me to eventually buy this, but the one I bought is the updated version and it's much better. It looks and feels like a high quality product. It's fairly heavy, but for a set of scales I think that's a good thing as clearly you want something stable to be standing on. It's wider than the previous version and also the surface underneath is completely flat (unlike the previous version that had little feet underneath) so the whole scale is in contact with the floor - again makes it feel more stable when you're standing on it. It comes with a rechargeable battery now (which lasts 12 months) unlike the previous version which you had to buy replacement batteries for. Finally, the whole point I think of buying a set of scales like this is for the technology it provides the user through the accompanying app, so you have to pair it with your iPhone / Apple WTAHC / android device. The onboarding process (or setup) between the "Base" (scale) and iPhone (works with Android too) is superb and it looks like they've updated the firmware too as it's slicker than what my friend had with the previous version of the QardioBase. Would certainly recommend.

I find this product useless, yes it tells you your weight, however it is slow to tell you. The app is useless, it is sluggish. I have it set to display all the things it should yet the app only shows weight. The app is also non responsive . probably the worst scales I have used. Had some withings that showed weight, BMI and fat % but no app, so this is why I changed, wish I did not bother!!. Using iPhone for data.

This is a thing of beauty! Not only that, some bits of kit really do "just work" and this is one. Interfaced with the app quickly and easily (on an iPhone 7) and worked intuitively straight away.I didn't have the previous model and I was worried about stability having read a few reviews but this is rock solid (on the flat tiles in my bathroom) and looks great to boot.This is an expensive product, but then again that's the one thing I knew before I bought it. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for and this is no exception - a top quality item.

Initially I had a lot of problems with scales they look good and are well built but the app is really bad I got so frustrated I was going to send it back connecting to my IPhone was problematic the recording was inaccurate one occasion the scales sent a reading to my phone when I was Not on them the scales weren’t move and no one else was in the home another time I managed to lose 9 st in one night and was congratulated for reaching my goal of 1lb clearly wrongI have persevered and it is currently working ok but watch this space it has only been about 10 weeks

We had the previous QardioBase and it was a really nice device. Qardio did provide additional feet free of charge to help improve stability of the unit, but it did still feel a bit unstable. The QardioBase 2 sits perfectly on our hard floor and the black finish is really attractive. The operation also seems a bit slicker - it is much easier to select who is on the scale when the device can't determine this (i.e. if you are both at fairly similar weights). Connection also seems slicker. And I much prefer the ability to recharge the unit rather than use disposable batteries. I'm very impressed, and glad that I got the new unit.

Updated to 3 stars because the tech support for Qardio is very good :¬)They have reproduced the WiFi problem below and will fix it at some stage in the futureFor now just take the phone to the toilet and keep the app open and it will use blutooth so the scale is usable now-------------old below----------------I made 2 accounts male and female - two show stoppers1) Setup whent ok untill it got to the bit "tap the scale to chose the correct profile"This does not happen, what you have to actualy do is ...Step on scale do the wait until it normaly shows the weight... here it shows the list of people... so you have to get off the scale at this point and tap the scale to find the right person then it shows the weight fat % and the name you already chose taping on it.2) Now the biggie..When using the scale away from the phone as instructed using wifi...It "NEVER" logs the reading as YOURS, even with manual setting of the name as in the above paragraphs......What is realy anoying, you are suposed to "Claim" the readings as your own (It already correctly knows your name) but...You are suposed to swipe left to claim this reading as yours but there is no option to do this... Only a delete reading iconThis maybe a lack of love for the Android App but come on guys at least make it work for one personUpdate: also trying the female profile always results in SAVE ERROR on the scales my male one seems to work sometimesI will contact Qardio maybe they can roll back the firmware to a working one :¬( and i will update here

I have had these scales for a month or so now and they have proved to be excellent.I have read some of the previous negative comments and find it difficult to agree with them particularly their instability.
