OVO Flex Easy Retrofit Flexible Pipes to Install Quickly and Easily a New Central Vacuum to an Existing Pipiping Network, Black (PIP-FLEX-12-HCSS)

These are made very well, and made connection of my new central vacuum much easier. The only downside is that these are very stiff, and a little difficult to make a 90 degree angle. Overall, I’m very happy with the product.

Make sure to purchase if you are replacing your current central vac system. The fittings are different for every brand, so this will ensure you get your system up and running. They were extremely ease to install!

Worked great having 2 shorter pieces especially since it does not bend easily.

Great product. Easily flexed. You can cut the tube to size or join the two for a longer run. PVC Inserts provided are helpful if you need to connect to another pipe. Most of the time they will not be needed and can be easily removed. You will not find any flex pipe for a 2” pipe in a home improvement store -I tried. The pipe has a rubber type coat which gives durability and flex.

I ordered these to make the final link between my central vacuum tubing and the actual vacuum machine. I purchased an OVO 700ST and they recommended NOT GLUING the final pipe into the vacuum in case of service or disassembly needed in the future. They recommended these flexible pipes and they worked great. I did not really need two (Amazon only had in pack of two). I actually ended up cutting one in half and just using about 7" to make the final connection. The 2" schedule 20 vacuum pipe fit snugly inside (note: this will not fit over a FITTING end, just the pipe). The included clamps quickly and easily sealed the line. The interior of the pipe is smooth (not ribbed) so it functions just like regular vacuum pipe. The pipe is stiff, but still flexes enough to manage a slight mis-alignment of the two ends if needed. Worked out perfect. I would buy it again.

I needed this to install my replacement central vacuum unit, since the connections weren't lining up. I was SURE to slide out the 2 PVC connectors that were inside each flex hose so nothing was inside the hoses. It was nearly impossible to bend - it took 2 of us to bend it, and I was afraid it would snap. We had no issues with the clamps, but the jury is still out as far as these flex hoses not damaging the existing PVC pipe, since the hose wants to move the pipe, thats how stiff it is. We finally got them situated and the vac is working.
