LOVE this stuff!!! It does taste very bitter by itself. But that is to be expected coming from pure barley grass. Just add fruit to your drink or smoothie and its good. I love to drink it on the days I'm feeling cruddy from eating really bad or when I'm trying to loose a few pounds. And my dad would drink it to help him fight cancer. I will always keep buying this product....FOREVER. The seals on the newest packaging break within days! I end up having to put it in another container or the product gets damp. I live in Florida which is damp all the time. I love the product, but I sure wish you would switch back to the old packaging! The zipper part breaks so easily and quickly so the seal is broken

I have been using a very expensive brand of the same product and recently switched to Terra and I am extremely happy with it. Tastes great and is a lot less expensive then what I was getting previously. Love that it is organic too.

The taste is better with juice so far, it gives me energy, definitely good for regularity

Arrived fairly quickly, I wish they would have put "perishable" or put some kind of simple insulation because I grabbed it off the front porch seconds after Amazon delivered it, but when I opened the box and pulled out this package it was very warm (as if it had been sitting in the sun for hours). Not sure why it was so warm, but the packaging says "store in a cool, dark, dry place"; so I assume heat/sun is not good for it? Then again, I'm not sure if it was in the sun, or perhaps just got really warm sitting in the delivery vehicle; either way, hopefully it didn't affect the product in any way. I anxiously took it out, scooped some out (I have a very long little scooper that is approximately a teaspoon, plus or minus), put it in a cup, and filled the cup with water. Before I get into the results, let me just say that I have been using a Japanese brand of BARLEY POWDER (NOT JUICE POWDER), and I have been drinking that every morning for more than a couple of years now. In summer I just put it in cold water, and in winter, I put it in hot water (and drink it like a tea). The flavor reminds me of green tea but with a slight "earthiness" to it. I stopped buying that Japanese brand last month and ordered this Terrasoul product after reading about how much better the "Juice Powder" is than the standard "Powder". My expectations, after reading reviews and articles, was that the juice powder would be more potent in flavor (being concentrated), and should mix very easily (since the insoluble fiber has been eliminated). The Terrasoul juice powder was definitely MUCH darker green that the powder I was taking, and it was very fine (not large, course grinding; it was ground very, very fine). Now, back to the cup I just mixed, I looked down and saw...little clumps! The juice powder seemed to form dozens and dozens of itty-bitty tiny clumps that were floating on top of the water, and maybe less than 1/8th of the juice powder was sitting on the bottom of the cup, like silt residue. How could I see the bottom? That would be because the juice powder mixed so poorly with the water, that the water was still completely see through. I guess, to be fair, there might have been the slightest tint of green to the water, but it was so light I could easily see the bottom of the cup! I figured what the hell, might as well try to drink it, so I took a gulp, swirled it vigorously around my mouth, but still wound up chewing the juice powder; yes, it was still completely separated from the water, so that I could chew it. The taste was like eating a mouthful of grass. I will say it wasn't horrible, or bitter, or revolting, or anything like that, but it was still like eating a mouthful of sweet grass. When I say sweet, I mean the organic, natural, "sweetness" when eating a freshly grown vegetable kind of "sweetness"; NOT the sweetness of a delicious fruit, or worse, as if they added some type of sweetener. You definitely knew you were eating grass! I think I read somewhere or in one of the reviews to sprinkle this on food. I would agree, if you can sprinkle it on something, and don't mind the taste, that would be the way to go. So far, there is absolutely no way that this can be drunk in a liquid. I will update as I try different methods of mixing (hot/cold, blender, different liquids, etc.). Update: cold water definitely mixes better, but still less than 50% (water was a little darker green, there was more "silt" on the bottom, and although there was still plenty of little clumps floating on top of the water, it wasn't as much as with hot water).

I usually but Dr Hagiwaras brand, it just got to be so expensive. This is definitely comprable quality for a lot more affordable price
