HENCKELS Graphite 14-pc Self-Sharpening Block Set - Black

I was looking for a high quality knife set that 1. would last me for a long time, 2. that didn't have corners at the grips for food bits to get stuck in, and 3. matched my goth decor in the kitchen. These fit the bill perfectly! They are so well designed and fit comfortably in the hand. They cut effortlessly. The self-sharpening block is really cleverly designed, too. I've only had them for a short time, but so far I'm extremely pleased.

I use this knife set daily to chop and slice everything from bread to vegetables, and have had no issue with them. They are incredibly sharp, and it doesn't take much pressure to cut through things like bread which can normally be a task. The steak knives are also very sharp and work well! I gave 4 stars for easy to hold because with the graphite handles, I feel as though I have to be extra careful to ensure my hand isn't wet so I have a better grip. I would definitely recommend these knives overall.

I purchased these in February 2024 and they started rusting in about 2 months (of course outside of the return period). I did my research on the brand and thought I found some quality knives. I do not let my knives sit in water. I had some lesser expensive Faberware ones that never rusted that I had for over 10 years. I will reach out to the seller to see if anything can be done. Otherwise very disappointed and do not recommend for the price.

Nice set of knives. Sturdy and sharp. Not sure about dishwasher safe, I hand wash to keep the sharpness. Steak knives handle are heavy and slide off plates making carrying them on plates dangerous. Be careful.

They're a pretty good value as someone who regularly uses knives. They are stainless steel so they have a bit of extra care requirements. The self sharpening block is a gimmick. They perform well with all tasks and have a knife for most occasions. Fits well in my larger hands and have a nice weight to them.

Very nice knife set. Ok great for kitchen however could use a little more weight throughout the handles to avoid loosing the grip and dropping them. Good packaging and craftsmanship. Love the self sharpening box holder.

Very satisfied with this purchase.This knife sets will help you accomplish a variety of cutting tasks with ease. I picked this particular set for its durability and style. It also has the right number of knives you will actually use.These knives will last for years to come, although I did noticed a little rust on the scissor..

I purchased these knives 4 months ago and thought they were great but noticed that I'm now getting "rust" spots on the knives that I cannot remove... very disappointed. Has anyone else had this issue?
