EXCELLENT little effects box! wow!

If you're sitting on the fence about this unit you should go ahead and take a risk.I've played guitar for many years and have had many effects units and amps. For what this unit is attempting to do (especially for the starting guitarist!) is rather AWESOME, really!Cab sims, Amp sims, spacious and quality reverb and indeed - ALL of the effects in this unit are good enough to make a track. For less than $40? lol what a bargain. So much in fact that today, I have ordered their same unit but for ACOUSTIC guitar.I have all ideas that it will be as good as this unit is for electric guitar. The design is small form factor perfect for a desk or to start your signal chain. The distortions are excellent for imitating the Vox and Marshall sounds!Built in tuner to boot!I'm glad I purchased this unit. I seriously don't see myself ever parting with it :)

Bang for your buck, a must for sll stages

On my list of things to get, since wife says no more guitars.. lol. So I preform on small stages, as in like 4 feet deep, and a with a full compliment of other instruments i.e. full drum set, two guitarists two vocals, keys, etc. It leaves very little room for a whole pedal board setup with the things this little beast has. I've used it with both an electric guitar as well as an electric bass. Little tweaks in the live setting to get a decent sound for the bass as this wasn't setup for the lower frequency of the bass. None the less, after the tweaks, it sound good. The two stages don't have much room for amps so this is perfect. Key take aways, presets are great buy may not be what your looking for in a specific setting. So go with the live setting and adjust from there. Be aware with the "amp" (tone) know, once you get past the clean channels, it gets very loud quickly. Others are, pay attention when swapping through the a, b, c, foot switches during a set, if you hit two of them just right, it will knock you out of live mode and back into preset modes. Additionally, if you've not pressed any foot switch for a little while (about 20 mins) it will automatically revert back to the presets and just a simple stopping on the b, c, switches brings you right back to the live mode.So recap, portable, sturdy, rechargeable, lightweight, great for small stage setups where you can go into a D.I. box, love how you can "home" jam anywhere with the headphone an tablet/phone/computer interface and jam alone, IR settings are Adjustable through software that's free and readily available.Overall, excellent work. May get one specific for a bass, but this little thing is doing the job nicely for now.UPDATE: 12.12.2023Ok, so going over questions from others, and thinking it over, I tried and idea. Some users don't have the ability for a 3.5mm headphone jack to use as in input/output. They thought about this when they engineered it. The Bluetooth function can be used for playing tracks. Meaning, since up the cube baby to phone/tablet Bluetooth, connect the 1/4" output to the amp of ur choice, on ur phone/tablet select what you want to play, (YouTube backing tracks etc.)My set up is: cube baby (guitar) synced via Bluetooth for playing backing track output (1/4" instrument cord) to amp, along with cube baby (bass) 1/4" cord out from bass guitar into cube baby (bass) and out of cube baby into amp and able to adjust accordingly. Thought I had to 3.5mm out of laptop/phone/tablet via USB cord into cube baby then out to amp. It will work that way, but the Bluetooth option means I'm not restricted by way shorter 3.5mm cords.

Not too bad!

Sounds really great! Only complaint i have is the compressor acts more like a boost. But for under $40 thats not bad at all

Nice product

I really like the sound of the productThe build quality is solid and it's easy enough to use it's easy to fit in a bag and it has variety in the effectsI also noticed some reviews have issues with getting it to workIf the lights flash when you turn it on make sure to turn the volume knob to make sure it's not just down

Seems to be dead on arrival.

I'm a total newb to guitar, However, I've sung in 3 bands, recorded 10 originals on an old 4 track cassette, and run sound with my 8 channel Peavy mixing board in live shows. In other words, I can hear and and mix decently at the very least.Recently I decided I wanted to learn to play but knew ahead of time I wanted effects to get certain sounds. I bought a well made import Les Paul and an Epiphone SG Special. Both sound and play well though the headphone amp I also purchased. That little amp models 14 amps and has 14 different effects, but distortion is not one of them. Still through experience at mixing I am able to get some pretty crunchy metal sounds.I had to choose between a Marshall 50w with mods and effects or a less expensive 40w amp with excellent reveiws and real spring reverb, but no other effects and this pedal. The amp is still a week away from delivery so I used the headphone jack just to get an idea of how this effect simulator sounds.Well, it sounds exactly the same no matter what you do with the controls other than volume and the 3 foot switches. No matter which foot switch I choose, the dials make absolutely no difference at all. There is a noticeable delay effect that plays through all 3 foot switches, but I can't adjust that effect in any way with the dials. The foot switches seem to act more like the pickup selector on the guitar itself more than anything else.I think I'll send this back and cancel the amp delivery. I'll just pay more for the Marshall 50w with mods and buy independent pedals for delay and distortion.
