Beachcombers Rainbow Colored Spiral Capiz Chime Windchime New 31.5 Inches

Love these wind chimes. They are calming with bright colors and soft sounds. The colors themselves are small and I like the size of the wind chime as it twirls around. It holds up very well to the New England winds!

I had one of these many years ago. It was always my favorite Wind Chime so I was delighted to find it on Amazon. I also purchased the rainbow colored one. They are not only beautiful, the sound is soft and musical. Not like many of the metal ones that are loud and annoying. This arrived as expected and in excellent condition. Each string of shells was carefully individually wrapped in plastic. It took awhile to get the plastic off, but well worth the time. Not one shell was damaged. A word of caution though. The shells are delicate and should be hung in a protected area that only get gentle breezes in order to avoid shell breakage and the stands getting tangled up.

Very pretty and musical, lightweight and easy to hang.

After looking at Capiz windchimes at Amazon for some time, I decided to get this one. The packaging was very good with each strand packaged separately (should have been a clue)in a neat little box. I hung this windchime on my back covered deck and within an hour, it was completely tangled up. So badly tangled, I gave up trying to untangle after about 1/2 hour. What a mess!!! It wasn't even windy! This windchime couldn't have even been hung in the house without any wind! They should have used fishline which I thought they did from looking at the picture. This fishline info should definetly be included in the description. What a disappointment.

I like it a lot, it's beautiful, has a soft melody, and is a pleasure to be near. Unfortunately, it gets tangled so easily and the shells are spaced so that it is difficult to untangle every few days.

I ordered several for Christmas gifts and kept one for myself. I have mine inside by a window and it is very pretty when the sun shines on it. Those I gave one to as gifts seemed to like them just as much as I did. If hanging outside, this item is best under an eve or covered patio. Will probably order more.

Feb 20, 2023: These are in the trash. Horrible waste of money and my time untangling them. DO NOT BUY!I rarely write reviews unless I really love something or really hate it. I love the look and sound of these chimes. That said, I have owned many sets of Capize chimes and have NEVER had the tangling issue that I have with these. Even in the slightest breeze, they become horribly tangled to the point that I have to bring them inside and spend 20-30 minutes untangling them. Not good. I don't know if it's the nylon thread (vs. the fishing line) they are strung with or just the spiral design. At any rate, not so much with these.

This is hanging in my apt almost in front of the window but with enough room to spin around- I didnt realize it would spin like that.The wind was very strong when I hung it and the window its in has the most ventilation .There was the slightest bit of overlapping strings but it was not of consequence as they never really tangled .These are not garish the colors are bright but subdued.I am not always happy with my Amazon orders but I am with the chimes so far.
