Worked perfectly straight out of the box
Very easy to connect (check you have an OPT(ical) socket on your TV - can connect to headphone socket but that usually cuts out 'normal' TV sound). I also used the supplied USB connector to power it from the TV so no other power socket needed.Worked straight away. I didn't need to 'pair' the hearing aids.Sound quality is pretty good, miles better than just listening to the TV's normal sound with just my hearing aids. TV sound can be raised or lowered separately from what I can hear through the aids (which I can raise or lower by the Phonak app which came with my aids). If I go into another room the connection breaks which is great for me as I can then listen to something else in another room without picking up the TV sound. Go back in the room and they reconnect automatically.Works for my Phonak Naida M aids.Strongly recommend if you are struggling to hear what is being said on the TV but you don't want to change the volume and inconvenience anyone else listening.AddedFurther to Keith's review I can switch mine off using the Phonak app, I don't need to change the TV or touch the unit. Also it's not clear from the image but this is very small and very unobtrusive. Approx 6cm by 6cm by 1,5cm.

Music sounds amazing.
I could not believe the difference in the TV when i connected this to the TV. There happened to be a film on which was a musical. The sound was unbelievable, it felt as if I was in the middle of the orchestra, and whereas before I used to have to turn the volume up so high the sound became distorted. Now I can hear perfectly and the family don’t have to leave the room any longer as they couldn’t stand the volume that I needed.

Happy Hearing
This little box is a HUGE game changer because it puts the sound from the tv directly into my hearing aids and allows my wife to have the general sound on at a level that is comfortable for her. No more over loud television and I can now hear nearly everything.

On/of and volume buttons don't work a common fault
Unlike compilot 2 you can't silence it when someone comes to door or someone wants to speak to you, you have to pause tv or pull power chord out as on off switch doesn't work on tv connector. Positive points worked straight from box with my lumity 90 aids. Very good sound quality just a shame it can't be switched off without pausing tv or pulling power chord out.

A Great bit of Kit
Having used wireless headphones for many years due to my hearing loss I decided to try this item after upgrading my hearing aids. It arrived early As I was setting it up it actually connected itself. The sound quality is superb . No more missing the phone ringing or door bell anymore due to earphones. Highly recommend with no reservations

Simple effective solution to listening to TV
It just works, superb, speech on TV is now really clear. Set up is straightforward but a couple of points to note. Read all the bits of paper that come with the device. You need to look at the single double sided sheet of paper first to check which model you have. Note that the handbook is for model 1.0 but you will probably receive model 1.1 which is ever so slightly different to handbook but all is explained on the additional sheet. Also helps to be sure you are getting the correct output from your TV, I had to change the audio output type on the TV to get everything going. And yes it is compatible with the NHS Phonak Nathos Nova hearing aids.
