command strips are a staple and simply the best option when it comes to attaching things to walls without needing to puncture your wall while also not having issues removing them. they are reliable and are one of the few products by a big brand that doesn't actually have downsides apart from the price but even then compared to cheaper alternatives, most others often have issues removing them and tearing off wallpaper when taking off the strips. As long as you properly follow the instructions for removing a command strip, you should have no issue as have I with using numerous amounts of strips for hanging posters and pictures in my room. We use these throughout the house and it definitely helps to use these whenever possible so you can avoid damaging the walls with unnecessary holes and paint blotches. These go up easy and we even used multiple to hang up a bedroom mirror and it worked perfectly. Stick with it.

They are super durable and so easy to install. I marked where I wanted to hang the frames so they would land straight and then placed the velcroed piece not firmly velcroed onto the back of the paintings then pressed them on the wall until I heard the velcro snap in place.Whereas some folks then pull the paintings off to let it stay for a while before putting it back on, I simply left them in place and they've been up since...
