Bogotá-Colombia, 23/Feb/2025Es un equipo pequeño de fácil manipulación y funciona perfectamente. El uso para el cual lo adquirí es muy distinto para el diseñado. Tengo unas mangueras que al momento de grafarlas (crimparlas) quedaban con un reborde que me impedía usar la llave adecuadamente. Compré esta máquina para terminar de apretar dicho reborde y funcionó perfectamente. El costo con envío gratis hasta Colombia me parece muy económico para todo lo que hace. No creo que sea un equipo para uso pesado; más para uso eventual. En mi caso, considero que es una muy buena compra y la recomiendo.

Very very nice! Easy to use, especially in tight spaces. multiple easy to swap pieces for different sizes. Even in tight Dodge underhood areas. Where has this been all my life!

I bought this to crimp gym equipment cables. I am making custom length cables 3/16 or 5mm diameter which includes the plastic jacketing. I opened it up looked at the dies and by eye chose the ones that are marked for 4 guage wire. Lined up the crimp ferrule with the end of the die loop side of cable. I pumped till i started to feel the tension increase then slid the ferrule to the other end repeated and the pumping procedure. The photo is the result of my first attempt, it is quite satisfactory to me. This cable was a piece of excess , I expected to cut the end off and throw away my first attempt but I will use it at some point for something as it came out good. See my other reviews if you want to know what ferrules and loops I used. $39.05 I paid for this tool and I should get my moneys worth out of it in no time. I may try it on wire in the future too. I think people who break it in half might be pumping too hard, it says it can generate 10 tons ( although the cylinder on this is smaller than a 10 ton car jack and I question that claim) I dont see the need to pump the dies against each other or smash what you are working on. Its crimping not crushing.

This tool is a must if you are putting up wire railing. Very easy to use to crimp the screw ends on the wires. Good quality tool that comes with several different sizes to crimp all typically used wire.

If I was a professional electrician doing this for a living I would not recommend these. With that said for somebody who makes a few crimps a year or is doing a large solar system you can't go wrong. Plenty of YouTube videos on these if you'd like to see them in action.I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I bought this crimping tool for use on quick disconnect fittings. I have a quick disconnect on my truck for a winch and jumper cables. I learned the hard way that cables cannot be soldered into the fittings and get a good power supply. Unknown to me solder is not a good conductor or electricity. My f250 with a high output alternator couldn't jump start little 4 cylinder engines. I used this crimping tool to reconnect my wires to the quick disconnect. The process was straight forward and easy. All my connections are now cramped with no solder. Now I just need to find somebody with a dead battery. The tool did come with several assorted sizes of dies for different sizes of fittings and a plastic storage case. I would buy again if needed.

This is a great tool to have for terminal crimping. The different crimper die sizes makes the job so much easier. The pneumatic crimper eliminates the need for excessive arm strength and compression. Makes it easy to get into tight areas. I would definitely buy again.
