New favorite edc multitool
I’ve been looking for a multi tool that has decent plyers and scissors and after several fails, came across this. I’m a handyman and it has held up very well to daily use.Color is unique so no misplacing it,Palm feel isn’t ideal but I’m not sure any multitool will feel good when you are squeezing the pliers on something.Knife has remained sharpPhillips head hasn’t lost its edge and keeps working well.Hinges are still tight.

well built budget tool. good for the money
I really like this multi-tool, it functions well and doesn't wiggle. It is not too big or small on your hands and doesnt weight much. i liked that it has a bottle opener that works.

Pretty good bang for the buck
I ride a motorcycle and wanted a multi-tool to carry with me as an adjunct to my emergency tool kit. I didn't want to spend a gob of money and I didn't want, or need, a multi-tool I could build a house with. I spent a lot of time looking here on Amazon and settled on this Siupro. The price was right, the reviews were good and it looked like a good fit for my needs.Out of the box the quality of the tool seems very good; a level belying it's price. What I like most about this multi-tool are the three main tools I anticipate using most are easily deployed and largest of the arsenal; the knife blade, scissors and pliers. The pliers are spring-loaded open and a cross between a needle nose and regular pliers. The wire cutter incorporated in the pliers looks robust and well up to the task of snipping zip ties and safety wire. The knife blade is hefty; it's 2 7/8" long, about 1/2" wide throughout its length and ~3/32 (3mm) wide across the back of the blade. The blade doesn't come to a sharp pointed end like most pocket knives, so it's not well-suited to poke or "drill" with; there's a separate pointed tool that can be used as an auger/hole puncher. The scissors are also of an effective and usable size; they have about the same dimensions as the knife blade. Some points by other reviewers about the scissor spring not working are simply a failure on their part to READ the instructions. When you open the scissors you have to push them back just a bit when they hit their stop. This will cause the latch to fully engage and activate the scissor spring; you know you've done it right when you hear the latch snap and the spring pushes the blades apart. These are probably some of the best scissors I have encountered on a multi-tool.The remaining tools are all hidden on the inside of the handles. One arm has the pointed auger and a #1 Phillips head. The other arm has two flat blade screwdrivers of differing sizes; one has a bottle cap opener the other has a can opener incorporated into them. The other tool is a J-hook rope or line cutter. The locks for all these tools in the handles are quite sturdy; the lock securely engages a notch cut into the base of each tool blade. Likewise, the locks for the scissor and knife blade are also strong and effective; I've not experienced anything to give me concern about using either. The multi-tool comes with a nylon pouch you can hook through your belt or, you can clip the tool itself into a pocket using the built-in clip on one of the handles. If you wear it in a pocket, the green side shows.Multi-tools are a personal thing; you select them based on your needs for the tool. In my case, this Suipro multi-tool checked the right boxes for my use to carry while riding; I don't think I'll use it much for anything else. Quality looks good and functionality is good for my needs; overall it's a pretty good bang for the buck.

I work maintenance and this is precisely what I needed
I like this because it has everything in one unit. No separate bits to lose. And it's not expensive so I won't be mad when I inevitably lose it behind an appliance in a few years.Everything locks smoothly and tightly except for the scissors, but I rarely use those so that's not an issue for me.The blade appears to be stainless. Knife afficianados would know that that's not always the best type of steal for blades. It's a softer metal so it sharpens easily, but wears easily too. I don't personally mind since I have the equipment to sharpen it quickly, but folks who don't want to sharpen frequently may want to look at a different tool. The blade came razor sharp from the factory and I work with water a lot so the stainless is good for that. The pliers are spring loaded. That's not a must but it does help in some situations. The hinge on the pliers feels gritty as if metal shavings are in there. Some ballistol would probably get it out, but it doesn't bother me enough to bother. The cutters on the pliers are inserts which means you can either replace them or remove them for sharpening. They are screwed in tight. No play. And they are cut at a deep angle for strength over sharpness. So I don't predict they will need to be serviced often. Just don't try to cut steal with them or any plier not specifically designed for that. Finally, the ergonomics are average. You can comfortably grip the pliers and apply medium pressure. Applying full force will probably hurt a bit after a few seconds.

Doubt it will last, one side is plastic... returned, Bought SD-10 model instead
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Siupro SD-8 and I will compare it to the more robust Siupro SD-10.I'm not a fan of Multi-Tools, but needed to purchase on for work tool requirements. I would much rather have a decent knife, some screwdrivers (multipurpose screwdriver) and real pliers/channel lock wrenches in my tool pouch. Not wanting to spend a small fortune on a tool that I would rather not own, I chose the Siupro based on the price and decent reviews. What drew me to the SD-8 model was the turquoise color, which made it different than the usual silver or black offerings. I was hoping that the turquoise side was anodized or painted metal, but was disappointed that its plastic. The SD-8 (Along with the better SD-10 model) comes with a belt pouch. If you purchase the SD-8 I highly recommend you carry the tool in the pouch and not depend on the pocket clip. The knife blade on the SD-8 is a tad on the loose side and can open up in your pocket. I thought about tightening the screws, but decided against that due to the plastic case.I will be returning the Siupro SD-8 and replacing with the SD-10 model. The SD-10 has a more robust build, more tools and is the same price as the SD-8!I included a video on operating the scissor function.
