Decent starter bits
Great for a beginner setup. They cut pretty easily and dont leave many lines when used properly. Kind of a cheap option. They last a decent amount of time before needing to be sharpened/replaced. They cut smoothly as long as everything is setup properly. Like a sharp bit, speed of each pass, or the plunge rate for the type of materials being used to cut each peice properly.

Great customer service!
One of the bits did not come to a point. I sent an email to Sainsmart customer service on night, was asked for a picture and shipping address the next day. Replacement bit was shipped immediately, and received a couple days later. Fantastic customer service. I used two of the 3 bits and they worked great once I picked the right speed.

Performed as Expected
I purchased the router bits to make some wood trim pieces to match existing woodwork in a100 year old house. No problems.

Excellent quality and stayed sharp!!!
Excellent quality..very sharp. I used the 90 degree one for almost 1,000 groves and the bit stayed sharp the same in the beginning as well as the end of the project.

Bit set
Just as advertised. Have only used one of the bits so far. Good value

Subpar quality from a pretty good manufacturer
Same issues as others unsharpened bits and the uncolored being corroded

Yellow one is not sharpened, metal one already showing corrosion
Like a lot of other reviewers, the yellow bit was sent to me unsharpened. You'd think these issues would have been worked out by now since it has been a long time since the original reports.I also had some dark spots show up on the uncolored bit. I scraped a little at a spot well away from the cutting edge at the back and the dark spot fell away to reveal pitting in the metal underneath. You can kind of see the speckled pattern near where the shaft connects right in the deepest corner of the flute but I couldn't get a good image of it. Looking closer, I noticed it was even worse in one spot nearer the point, which I originally took to be an air bubble causing issues during manufacture.Buyers should also be aware that the shank sizes (cutting heads seemed accurate) aren't necessarily what's advertised. It shouldn't matter too much for most, but might for a few use-cases. I measured 45.7mm overall for the metal, 47.8mm for the yellow, and 44.25mm overall for the blue, all advertised at 50mm. The blue in particular might cause people some issues given it's off by almost the entire depth of the V edge.Overall these display really poor quality control which really surprised me since the other Genmitsu bits I've bought have been very consistent and high quality for the cost.*Edit: Returned for a replacement hoping I just got unlucky with a bad or old box but it was the exact same issue with the yellow bit unsharpened and the metallic bit showing signs of corrosion, this time on the cutting edge near the tip. I really recommend giving this set a miss unless you have a lot of time to mess around trying to get a correctly made set of bits.*

Sturdy and good
These work as expected, but the silver one is useless without an adapter, and it doesn't match the 1/4 shank. There is a 1/2-inch adapter included. God knows what for.
