Amazing integration with smartthings!
Purchased these to do a bit of home automation and a bit of a make shift alarm system.Reading the reviews I noticed some functionality wasn't present but the reviews were quite dated! It appears thanks to the smartthings edge drivers functionality on the smartthings hub you can now apply custom drivers from frient! This was a bonus as I can use the lux levels to only trigger the lightning when it goes below a certain level and time of day.Overall I'm certainly impressed but wished I put some thought into positioning as the motion range is further than expected! They are very sensitive devices to the point the robot vacuum triggers them but there's no way to tone the sensitivity down apart from the amount of movements needed to trigger it.Over very happy and is sufficient for our needs!

Works fine but with SmartThings you dont get the LUX Light detection
LUX does not work with Smartthings. The listing does specify this but I missed it.

Works great with Home Assistant (ZHA & Z2M)
I picked this up out of curiosity as I didn't like the price hike the Philips Hue stuff has had. This integrates well with Home Assistant using Zigbee Home Assistant or Zigbee2MQTT, though the Z2M integration is better as it reveals more options such as occupancy timeout, disabling the onboard LEDs and firmware upgrades. The build quality isn't as good as the Hue, it's a shade larger and it doesn't have the lovely magnetic mounting options - but it costs less.It as the same sensor suite, (luminance, occupancy, tamper, temperature) you have tooled or untooled mounting options and a pair of LEDs inside so you know when it's been triggered visually.I like it, this was a good purchase. Will get another one when I need one.

Disappointed not compatible with Zigbee
I was looking for PIR sensor that i can connect with Smart home set up to control lights and serve as security system as well. I’ve read the specifications of this device and i was very excited. Package and presentation is awesome. BUT the device NEVER connects to my Zigbee gateway and Echo 4 which has built in Zigbee hub. I tried 20 times and spend 2hrs trying to figure it out. This device is also not compatible to Smartlife app. In short i returned the item and searched for another PIR.

Works easily with Smartthings
Works well with Smartthings as advertised. Was easy to pair and took just mins. I also like that it takes standard AA batteries, although that does make the size of the sensor bigger. My main issue with it is that since it is advertised to work with Smartthings, not all features are available. I only get motion and temperature readings in the app. Neither light nor tamper are available. Should be clear on the advert what features work with which hub, basically feel I got conned into a purchase. I would recommend the non pro on smartthings basicallyUpdate: After contacting Frient, they did update the listing to reflect this. I kept the sensor anyways, might come in handy if I switch to HA.

Easy to add to Home Assistant
This motion/temperature/light sensor works great as additional sensor to the Home Assistant network. Connecting to the Zigbee network was easy. It shows all relevant data, and the lux even shows the correct values (compared to the Hue sensor which only shows max of 300 on a very sunny day).

This s bsors strongest asset is the 3M tape on the back of it
But that's where it all goes. Downhill at least for me anyway.I found these sensors not to last very long. Sometimes some of them just lasted a matter of weeks. When the sensors are working they will drop reporting to your home assistant. The 3M tape is very very strong on these. It was enough to take the plaster off the ceilingWould I buy these again? No - there sensors out there for around the same money to Which in my opinion are more superior to this one.

Good Zigbee Motion Sensor
Got 3 of these. They work well overall in HA. Sometimes they miss small motions (like waving an arm) so the sensitivity is good but not perfect. There can be a slight lag to trigger an automation too, but could be many causes for this. Still seem reliable after 1 year. I hope that support for Matter/Thread standard can be added without the need to buy new sensors as that is gaining popularity now and works with Home Assistant.
