Brown Sugar Cone
When we were in Costa Rica, the resort had a special sauce that we fell in love with. It was sweet, spicy, and was used on basically everything you ate. I was fortunate to get the recipe from the cook, who explained that they do not have bags of brown sugar. This is a product That they utilize due to the fact that it is pretty much hard as a rock. You cut off a piece and use the bottom of a frying pan and toggle it over the sugar and it will turn it into powder. It is best for anybody having questions on this Sugarcone to do a quick research on the Internet. I didn’t want to mess up the recipe by using a bag of brown sugar . It is less expensive ordering it from Amazon and you may be able to just get away with buying one cone and perhaps if you do purchase 1 you can exchange the brown sugar to the cone.

Excellent quality product by a reliable Company
Our local supermarkets don’t stock any piloncillos anywhere in this region. It’s typically used in Mexican baking and cooking instead of carmel colored brown sugar. Goya Foods carefully seal packed each cone to prevent contamination. I ordered 2 double packed cones. Upon receipt of this order, each double pack was carefully packed into a sealed off heavy duty plastic bag. I easily shredded one whole cone to ensure there would be enough for the Marranitos (cookies) I plan to make this week for friend’s 3 children. Am quite pleased with the quality of this product and careful handling by the seller.

Very good, as expected. I recently had some of this sugar in a cup of Mexican mushroom coffee. It was extra tasty. The flavor profile of this style of sugar is just better over white cane sugar. Adds something special. It has become my go-to sweetener for Turkish coffee.Deep brown densely packed cones (Piloncillo) is made by crushing sugar cane and collecting the juice. I used piloncillo to make cafe de olla (coffee). I highly recommend this product.

I currently live in an area where getting even relatively common ethnic cooking ingredients is an impossibility.I wanted to make some traditional Mexican and Central American dishes that required this kind of sugar. Unfortunately, I can't compare it to any other brand because this is all that I've ever tried, but the taste is wonderful and it works and all of the recipes that require this type of sugar. very pleased and so happy I can have it delivered within days.

Tastes good
I love alternative sweeteners that aren’t stevia or other fake sweeteners. If you like honey and agave, you’ll like this. It’s got that similar natural flavor. I keep this in a plastic Tupperware type container with a lid, and use a butter knife to shave off a serving at a time. Use for my coffee. It’s really good.

Great Taste but Painful to Use
The flavor is rich and pleasing. The tough solid cone is difficult and messy to work with.
