Love, love, love this keyboard and mouse. It’s very basic, however I got it for the quietness of the keys. I am an aggressive typer and this keyboard is perfect and the keys feel really nice! I bought 2, one for my office and one for when I work from home.

UPDATE:I went and bought AAA batteries (I still hate them very much) and plugged the receiver from the USB 3.0 slot to the USB 2.0 and now the keyboard works, I'm typing on it right now. Just sucks that it's USB 2.0 even though 3.0 is compatible and would have been a better choice. But at least it's working now, typing feels pretty good for a membrane keyboard, I'm used to my mechanical keyboard but sometimes you just need to type quietly when everyone is sleeping. This thing is SUPER DEAD SILENT, you can only hear the keys press but absolutely no sound. Also the mouse actually is pretty precise now that I have it plugged into USB 2.0, it's no longer being weird, no more freezing or glitching. Great quality and value, I had to upgrade my wireless keyboard and mouse combo due to people thinking I was typing while I was mad. My other combo was more expensive, but was very loud. This setup is my go to for silent typing and best value around. My work gave me the other set, but I replaced it with this that I bought with my own funds. Can not go wrong with this.

This is one of the best things I've ever purchased! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. The key are quiet yet very responsive to the touch. It's wonderful! I'd buy again and again and again.

I love mechanical keyboards but my office mate who sits a few feet away did not like my super awesome (and purple!) mechanical keyboard. In hopes of finding compromise I thought, "If I can't hear the clickety-clack of my keys then I don't want to hear ANYTHING." I purchased this keyboard for that very reason. It arrived today, and I can confirm that it is pretty darn quiet compared to my mechanical keyboard, which has been lovingly packed away should I decide I miss the clickety-clack too much. There's still some noise with this Logitech keyboard though, since I have very long nails that still click on the keys when I type. YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT, KAREN.

I love how quiet the mouse and keyboard are. However, the keyboard arrived with a broken/missing key. (The play/pause key at the top left.) It's not the end of the world, but still stands out.Other than that, I love it.
