Very tasty nice minty flavor. Wish they had discounts, coupons, to help poor people. However no canker sores on worth it!

Great SLS free toothpaste. I haven't had a canker sore since I started using this toothpaste several years ago.

Reason for my purchase: I have always experienced issues with canker sores in my mouth. Essentially, for me, canker sores develop when I am getting sick and they multiply very quickly. As I have aged (I am only 26) I have experienced canker sores from foods, sunflower seeds and I am sure other foods. I eat very clean and am an active individual so I know my diet really isn't a huge contributor to canker sores, other than the sunflower seeds I eat. In addition, I get them from stress; graduate school hasn't helped my cause.How well it worked for me: OUTSTANDING! I have been using this toothpaste for only a week and notice a HUGE difference in my mouth! I can usually tell right away when I am going to get an inflamed taste bud or canker sore. This toothpaste has helped immensely to diminish my existing canker sores, relieve a majority of sore inflammation and prevent new ones from developing. I know this because when I develop one sore I begin to get several other around my mouth. I used to just get them on the outer wall of inside my mouth and now they develop on my tongue, which is twice as painful. I also experience fevers from them, so I really understand how painful they can be. Before I purchased this I used Sensodyne toothpaste, which really helped regarding tooth sensitivity while whitening and this seems to be working well for that as well.I suggest buying this product, even though it is a quantity of 4, it will be worth it. I use it in combination with prevention everyday mouth rinse. I have also purchased prevention oncology mouth rinse, which I use when I have a flare of sores, and they both have helped A LOT in combination. I am finally getting some relief :).

SLS makes the inside of my mouth hurt and peel. Some non SLS toothpastes leave welts inside of my mouth. Other non SLS toothpastes are runny, taste bad, or seem ineffective.This is the best non SLS toothpaste I've found. It has a very firm texture so you have to squeeze hard to get it out of the tube, but it holds up while brushing. I told my dentist about this toothpaste after the one they recommended didn't work for me. I hope that they make this toothpaste for a long time because I need it.

Verve Ultra SLS Free toothpaste is a life saver.I hope this review helps other people with a sensitivity to SLS (sodium laurel sulfate).My dentist and oral hygienist love and dislike me. I enjoy brushing and flossing after meals. I use more than the recommended "pea sized " amount of toothpaste and brush like my life depends on it.My teeth are in great shape but I have developed a sensitivity to SLS.The inside of my mouth turns white and then peels in small patches then sloughs off.There is a rather raw and painful feeling and the sensitivity of my teeth went through the roof.Sodium Laurel Sulfate is found in almost every toothpaste , it creates foam and helps remove debris.For the vast majority of people it is not a problem.A great alternative is Verve Ultra with fluoride.Verve toothpaste has no SLS or the alternative Cocamidoprpyl Betaine which acts in the same manner.My mouth is lef feeling clean and refreshed after gentle brushing.The only cons are the higher price point and the mint is flavor is milder than I would prefer.However it is well worth the tradeoff. Highly recommend.

I love this toothpaste! I only give it 4 stars because we have a hard time opening the lid. I am allergic to sulfates in toothpaste and since I started using this I have not had any issues. Highly recommend!

SLS is a foaming agent and can cause mouth sores in some people. This toothpaste tastes great and is SLS free.

I’ve been using Verve for years, it is my go to for toothpaste. Fresh taste and no more canker sores!
