Great way to install new chains.
They are much easier to install than pins. And they work well. I would encourage the use of a pair of quick link pliers. Not a must but it makes the job easier. Get the ones that open and close the link. I really think they are a great idea. I don't see me going back to pins again.

KMC Quality
Good value and great product. Don't trust a knock-off product to support you out on the trail.Worth every penny.

All fixed and ready to hit the trails again!
Chain broke on the trail and I wasn't prepared so I had to take a walk of shame back to my car and load up and go back home. Ordered this 6 pack of master links and a chain breaker tool immediately. Only took a few mins to fix my chain and now I can hit the trails again.

Linked up well.
I know I'm screwed for saying this, but knock on wood, I've yet to need one on the trail. Still gives me a boost of confidence knowing I have a few in my bag though. I mostly use these to pull my chain for cleaning. I ride a lot of t grimy/gritty conditions and like to keep my drive train fairly clean to reduce wear and tear on ring and cogs. I run a SRAM PC 991 chain and these work great.

KMC Missing links
KMC Missing Links - I like the idea of an easily removable link and the quality of these links look great but the jury is still out on whether using these links will work in the stress of riding Moab's single track. I used one of these links when replacing the chain on my Trek. The riding in Moab is super but the fine sand gets into the chain - and every place else. I've always wanted to be able to easily remove the chain to soak it and get the grit out. With these links that should be what I can do without breaking the chain and replacing the pin. I'll find out in April.I'll update after our trip.

Your bike chain keeper.
Anyone who has toured across these USA on a bicycle can attest the value of a spare chain link. If you lose/break your chain and are stuck out on a long lonely road, it can be a long walk or if the next town doesn't have a bike shop, you'll wonder why you didn't bring a spare. Chain link to the rescue!

Best price on ride saving quick chain connectors
Works great on Shimano and KMC chains, I always carry two of them as a backup in case I get a broken chain. This was the best price I could find and they're exactly the same as what's included with any 9 speed KMC chain.

Works as well as SRAM Powerlinks
I bought these over the SRAM powerlinks, strictly based on price. I have used several of them, and have never had any issues with them.. I carry a few in my camelback, becauseit seems that other bikers tend to break chains and not carry appropriate tools. It's saved my ride as well as several others many times. I've pulled the chain several timesto clean the chain, and still have not had any issues with removing/installing the link.
