A good product!
I am a healthcare professional. Had to have surgery for fractured wrist and elbow. Pain pill, physical therapy, ice, heat and chiropractic care, worked fine. But I decided to get me a TENS unit. This was a game changer. Reduced pain, stiffness and increased mobility. One of the providers' I worked with fell and was having back pain. I bought my TENS to the clinic and attached it to the provider. Her pain decreased and mobility was greatly improved. From that point, I was asked to educate patients with mild to moderate pain how to use the unit. I guess at least 40 to 50 patients purchased the same unit.

Works great and a great price!
I had one for many years and it finally just quit working. I did some research and purchased this one! It has been amazing for me and my husband! It’s lightweight but definitely helps with all the aches and pains! Long battery life and small enough to fit in your hand!

Best TENS unit out there
Got this for my mother for Christmas and she loves it. She is a ski patroller and has used it on patients who have had minor injuries and successfully made them feel much better with this. She also has aches and pains from being so active in ski patrol and this has helped her a lot. Very good product.

Works well if you put the probes in the right spots
This Review may be long and detailed, but I hope it helps anyone looking for a good TENS unit - I personally read many, many reviews before making a purchase online, so when writing one myself, I try to provide lots of details.I looked into buying one of these after my physical therapist recommended I get one for home use. This is definitely a powerful little unit. I would advise starting out on the first intensity level, then bumping it up one at a time as tolerated, if a stronger electrical pulse is needed, to make sure it's not too much. The unit has several settings, and sub-settings under each of those, so it can be a little confusing at first to figure out which toggle does what, and which order you have to change them in, but once you figure out which one does what, it's a piece of cake. I'll try to upload a video demo to explain it.I experimented with each setting and sub-setting until I found the one I liked the best. Once you decide on the settings you want, you can set the strength/intensity of the pulse. This unit has the very handy option of using only 2 probes, or a full set of 4 probes, for extra umph, to use it for 2 locations at once using both channels, or just simply to cover a larger area. You have full control over both sets of probes with 2 channels, so you can set them the same or different from each other. To get to the settings from one set of probes (for settings and intensity) to the other, it's another simple toggle. Then you're ready to set your timer for however long you want your session to be. It defaults to 20 minutes, but you can change it from 10 - 90 minutes in increments of 10.For the probes themselves, it helps to clean and dry the area of skin first with a little soap and water or a quick wipe with alcohol, for better adhesion, especially if the skin is a little oily. The adhesion is very good and does not leave your skin sticky at all. Once you're finished with your session, you can stick the probes to the clear card they came off of (I use one card for all 4) for easy storage and reuse. There's really no need for any drops of water to be able to reuse them if you use them on clean skin and store them properly. This is how they do it in the physical therapy office as well - each patient that uses the machine has a card with their probes on it that goes in a baggie with their name on it, that then gets filed in a little file card box. I bought extra probes and each member of the family now has a card of probes with their name on it, so each person has their own. The probes are definitely good enough to reuse for several sessions. Three of us have used the unit so far multiple times and none of us has had to replace their probes yet.For the battery, I will say that the battery life has also been fantastic. Like I've said, 3 of us have used it multiple times and we've only had to charge it once. All 3 of us have gotten various aches and pains relieved by this and loved it! Be patient, though, it may take a little experimentation to find the right muscles and spots to place the probes properly on. I had to adjust them a few times on my husband's hamstring to get the placement just right for pain relief. Just be sure to turn the unit OFF before adjusting a probe so you don't shock yourself or the person doing the placement! Also of note for anyone that might be considering it, TENS units are NOT for children and should always be used with caution. One more thing - I wanted a hard case to keep this unit and its gear all together in, so I purchased the below one, and it fits beautifully and is well protected! Amazon Basics Universal Travel Case Organizer for Small Electronics and Accessories, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VPE1QG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_49MR6AM7KEBTCYSQNGZV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1Overall, I definitely would recommend this unit, and I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars, with the .5 star removed only because it does take a little practice and patience to fully understand how to work it and to get the placement of the probes right. In their defense, though, to make the unit compact and portable, they have to make it able to do multiple things with very limited space, so therefore you get multiple toggles, and they do provide a little manual that goes over the operation of the unit and a diagram in the manual about placing the probes, both of which are somewhat helpful. There are a ton of choices out there, so I hope this Review has helped!

Critical component of my lower back treatment plan.
Pros✅ Healthy variety of modes to choose from; there are six categories and 24 modes.✅ Level of intensity can be adjusted from 1 to 10 (one being the least intense and ten being the most intense); I rarely have to use any mode past the fifth level or the halfway point.✅ Battery lasted longer than I expected it to and is rechargeable.✅ The vendor-provided pads have great adhesion, can be reused many times, and you can purchase replacements for a fairly reasonable price.✅ As far as pain management goes, the device does a better job than my muscle relaxers and pain medications combined.✅ The two wires (A and B) can be customized to use different modes and intensities which really enhances the pain management experience for me.Cons❌ Each wire comes with two ends that connect to two pads; initially the distance between those two ends and pads was very small. If you want to increase the distance, you'll need to gently pull the two wires away from each other to allow more distance between each pad placement.❌ The navigation of the device can be confusing at first. There's a quick how-to guide on the product's page that will give you a run-down on what everything does. Remember that if you're using both "A" and "B" wires that you will need to set the modes and intensity separately. M = change the category, left/right arrows = change the mode in that category, T = increase the time, up/down buttons on the left and right side control the intensity of "A" and "B" wires respectively.❌ The screen light is on a short timer, probably to preserve battery, but it's frustrating to have it go off while I'm trying different modes. Also, the screen can be difficult to see in darker environments without the light.I suffered a lower back injury that prevented me from sitting or walking (at all); I could not get out of bed. Per the doc, I needed to resume my daily activities as much as possible. I wasn't sure what to do but after some thinking, I came up with a plan: 1) use a walker to regain the ability to sit and walk again, 2) use a TENS unit for pain management, and 3) use lower back stretches designed for lower back pain.Post-injury, I made absolutely no progress on days 1 and 2 because my primary treatment for the injury was rest + ice + heat. On day 3, I started using this TENS unit + walker + stretches and I could stand (or sit) unassisted for about 2-5 minutes. On day 4, using the same treatment combination, I was able to stand (or sit) unassisted for about 10-30 minutes. On day 5, using the same treatment combination, I was able to stand (or sit) unassisted for 45 minutes at a time. On day 6, I no longer needed the walker to get out of bed or walk and I could stand (or sit) for 60-120 minutes before needing to rest my back. I think this is the best treatment combination for me and the improvement has been remarkable.Using the walker alone was painful which is why this TENS unit is invaluable; if you walk with the TENS unit on, it almost negates the pain. That doesn't mean go do jumping jacks and back flips, but it does give you the ability to get your body moving again without being in excruciating pain. I initially only used it while laying on the bed for 20 minutes at a time, but once I realized it worked great with the walker, I used the TENS unit to increase the amount of time I could walk and sit since it negated my pain.On this TENS unit, my favorite modes are P01 and P03. One is a "steady" delivery and the other is a "burst" delivery. Although I tried all six categories, the top two were the best for pain management. Some modes are very similar to others, some do very little at all, and some actually mildly increase the pain in my lower back. As mentioned below, the unit is very strong and I almost never have to use a level of intensity past the halfway point. For pain management, especially for lower back pain, I would strong recommend this TENS unit. In my opinion, the TENS unit is better than the muscle relaxers and pain medications combined.

So far it's been great!
I've only used it a couple of times but it was easy to learn how it works and it seems to be very effective. I'm glad I took a chance on buying a more affordable unit. I can't imagine the more expensive brands are better or more effective. Hopefully it holds up over time.
