RMS Deluxe Sock Aid - Socks Helper with Foam Handles (for Regular Socks)

This is the best self help aid I have seen in a long time. Due to ongoing knee and hip issues and pain, it would take me almost ten minutes to put on one sock. I looked for help on Amazon and ordered this item. So easy to put a sock on it and slide my foot right in! Plastic is sturdy (not super flexible) and ropes and foam handles are great. What a time saver and no more aching joints when getting my socks on in the mornings. I recommend this for anyone with joint pain, back pain and for any age. It looks like it will last a long time. Btw I have only tried it with men’s ankle socks and no shows. Very happy with purchase.

This product is absolutely amazing. I have osteoarthritis in my right hip and it makes it very difficult for me to put on my socks because I can’t cross my foot far over my opposing leg. This product worked awesome for putting on my athletic socks. I wear with my athletic shoes. One tip I would suggest if you’re going to have short socks is to make sure you put the sock completely on the device so that the tip of the toes is fully up against the end of the device. Once you do that, pull the rest of the sock towards the back of the device, where the ropes attached. If you do this, you will be able to get the entire sock on, including over the heel. If you only partially put on the sock, you will still have to try to lean over to pull it over your heel.

I have a friend who's physical therapist showed them the tape trick to help put on compression socks. I thought I would give it a shot and I'm glad I did. Also seen that someone did the tape trick in the reviews.

It helps get your sock started over your heel, though it won’t pull it all the way on. If you have wide feet, you might run into some difficulty at first, since the rope is knotted on the inside. I’d recommend the manufacturer design a shallow socket where the rope connects inside the main body, so it doesn’t protrude as much. I think that would solve the tanglefoot problem! That said, it’s definitely worth the money.

I had my doubts before it arrived but it works great and is priced very reasonably. I wish I would have known about these sooner. For someone with spine issues it sure speeds the process and reduces the back pain of putting on socks.

Because I have traumatically induced arthritis from a football 🏈 injury when I was young I unfortunately no longer have flexibility and this item assists me in getting my socks on much easier than without it. In fact it works so well that I have gifted one to my sister.

Oh man ! That is all I can say. This product works great. I needed this to help put on my socks and wasn't sure it would work was I pleasantly surprised. Works like a charm. If you need assistance with putting on your socks and have difficulty bending to do it these are for you!! Who ever came up with this idea thumbs up.

My obesity and age puts many burdens on the ability to pull leg wraps or socks on my feet to legs. I have tried several sock aids. This is by far the best. My only concern is after approximately 6 months the plastic will crack and the devise will become unusable. The price is fair enough I have no problem purchasing another set. I keep a backup now for those times it cracks.
