Got it for both my kids. They love the sound effects or to just play with it without the sound. Nicely made and easily to replace batteries for the sound effects.

3 and 4 year old have a lot of fun riding on their unicorn. Good quality, clear sounds and very shiney. The girls love it.

Bought 2 of these for my granddaughters. Within the first hour the wheels came off of both. No they are not wild kids. They have 2 similar horses from a different brand they have played with for over a year. The only reason I purchased these is my granddaughter tripped and fell breaking the stick and was heartbroken. When looking on Amazon she saw the unicorn, so I bought one for each granddaughter.When they open them they were very excited. I was immediately concerned because the harness and reins are cheap and flimsy. The horn wasn’t sewn to the end with the last inch having the stuffing hanging out. I don’t believe they will be attached very long.I would return them, but they don’t see that they are cheap and flimsy even though they aren’t priced that way. If your kids are actually going to play with these I suggest you look to purchase something else.

Like many here, I thought the toy had come broken. When you press the ears, there's no sound! What's more is that it comes with no instructions. That's why so many are saying that the sound is broken/doesn't work. The manufacturer would save themselves a lot of crappy reviews by simply slipping a piece of paper in the box showing the VERY hidden battery compartment. Only when we came back to this page to look at the item did we see that there's a compartment hidden within the mane that you have to pull apart. Really dumb, considering I was just about ready to request a refund. Other than that, my only complaints are that the wooden portion is obviously not very well made. When you screw in the bottom portion, it doesn't tighten exactly where it's supposed to. I'm hoping through rough play that it doesn't fly off or break. And the sound is wayyyyyy too loud, even for a kids toy. Will my 4 year old daughter love it? Yes. Is it made like it's worth 40 bucks? Absolutely not.

Bought this for my 4 year old but it’s been fun for our friends ages 2-5. It makes a fun galloping sound, which the kids love. It’s a great prop for dress up play. The head and stick are both made with great quality. Overall very happy with the purchase.
