Reliable, Easy to Use, and Perfect for Home or Office
I’ve been using the Scotch Thermal Laminator (TL901X) for a few months now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations! Whether I’m laminating documents for work, kids’ artwork, or even recipe cards, this machine delivers a smooth, professional finish every time.Setup was a breeze—just plug it in, wait a few minutes for it to warm up, and you’re ready to go. I appreciate the simplicity of the design: no unnecessary buttons or complicated features, just a reliable machine that does exactly what it promises. Everything comes out crystal-clear and sealed edge to edge. It works great with 3 mil and 5 mil pouches, which gives me the flexibility to laminate everything from standard papers to heavier items like ID cards or instructional signs. It’s also surprisingly compact and lightweight, so I can easily store it in a drawer or cabinet when not in use. And at this price point, it’s a fantastic value for both occasional and frequent laminators.

Wonderful
I got this to make some homemade cards and signs and it's SO easy to use. Be careful with positioning cuz it can eat it diagonally if you aren't careful (like a shredder), but it's generally slow enough that it isn't difficult to catch it early.I've used it for a few small projects and it hasn't had any issues yet.Nice small profile, the pouches work well, and I'm very satisfied with the quality of this laminator.

Top Quality Item when it counts
I belong to a club and we host different events during the year, well somehow along the way I became the clubs sign/flyer maker. As such I purchased these after a storm during an event made the flyers unreadable and ruined. So far these have never let me (or the club) down. Would buy again and actually have.

Very happy with this laminator
Only used it about 5 times so far but it has worked very well. The laminated paper came out perfectly clear. No jamming or bubbling. I used the Amazon Basics brand of laminating sleeves.Very easy to use - I followed the instructions that came in the box and it worked perfectly! It did get quite hot in the 10 minutes we were using, not hot enough to burn yourself on it but hot enough that I wondered if that was normal. I've only had one other laminator years ago so I can't be sure, I just wouldn't want to leave it turned on any longer than 20 minutes or so, or leave it unattended for too long.It didn't give out any smoke or funny smells.I will update this review as we continue to use it, I want to experiment with thicker paper and other projects.

Good enough for gov't work
Sometimes, when I put them through the heater twice, they get worse and wrinkle. It depends what I put inside the sheets. I wish they stuck together better around the object in between the sheets.

It's a laminator
I had another Scotch laminator that lasted for about 15 years before finally dying. I just did a trial run with this little laminator and it works as expected. I hope it will last for at least another 10 years! While this isn't the cheapest laminator on the market at 40 bucks, I trust the Scotch brand name more so than some of these others that may only cost 20 bucks and could die after a year. I have to laminate a lot for my profession and having this at home helps a lot!

Laminating pouches
These laminating pouches are perfect for anything you need to last a long time. They are easy to use as you open the pouch and place the paper wherever without it slipping in the pouch. Very easy to use.
