Work around for extension not being able to screw into the subwoofer.
This works BUT I had to remove the male end sheathing that the screws go through in order to connect it to the subwoofer otherwise the ends where the screws would attach to the piece that's on the subwoofer get in the way and the extension won't be able to plug into the subwoofer. In hindsight you could also cut them off flush with the sheathing with a dremel type device if you have one handy and actually save the sheathing if you choose.

Its made backwards
DO NOT BUY. THE SCREW AtTACHMENTS ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE. So when you extend it but the nut on the male end..the subwoofer also has nuts so you literally cant plug this in. It might be a good cable but it isn't capable of being plugged in.

WORKS FOR Z906!!!
I bought this because 1 guy in the reviews said it works with Z906 amongst a sea of people saying it doesn't work for 1 Logi system or another. It 100% works for Z906 with no issues. Even the screw issue people are complaining about is completely absent for my system. It fully mounts, locks in and sounds good.

Do not buy this piece of crap.
This cheap piece of garbage is a waste of money. I bought this cable as an extension to my Logitech Z623 subwoofer sound system for my computer. I love the speakers themself but the cable isn’t long enough. The cable looks like a VGA cable BUT it’s not. I repeat you can not use a VGA cable, I did my research which is why I bought this cable. It specifically says it is an extension cable for the Z623. I get the cable quickly, I go to install it and the connectors are backwards. And when I say backwards, I mean the connector screws that hold the cables together. The side with the screws you can still use but you can’t secure it. In my setup I could have over looked this, However the other end has the female nut part which is now on both sides. You can’t remove them and the connectors will not mate with those screws in place. I have worked with electronics for many years. I try to just remove the nuts but the connector broke in my hands. I assume not all of their cables are backwards but the QA folks were sleeping the day this one was turned out. I just tossed the cable and took a $16 loss. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this was my time to get burned. I can’t comment on if the cable would have worked or not, if it hadn’t had the connector problems. So zero stars from me and I hope I’ve saved someone from having the same experience. I read the comments before buying and it had good reviews but they not getting anymore of my money and I broke the connector trying to fix their crap so it’s a total loss for me.

Works with Z-2300
I can confirm that this works with a Logitech Z-2300 and has the correct M and F connectors for that model.

works, with minor alteration
screws are on the wrong end for my system to secure the cable in place. I had to tear the screws off to use it. Other than that, it does what I need it to do, since Windows refuses to let you swap left and right speakers for some reason.

Amplifies the electrical noise in your system.
Amplifies the electrical noise in your system. When using the extension I could clearly hear a faint high pitched noise that was not present before. Not sure if it is the cause, but the extension cord is noticeably thinner than the stock cord. Too bad because I really had a need to move my subwoofer, and wanted it to work.. I'll be sending it back.
