Due to the dimensions of my fitted crane 2 case, I cannot leave this arm attached to the gimbal for storage. Otherwise, I've been satisfied that it meets my needs including the option of attaching a monitor or microphone directly to the arm if desired. Build quality seems very good.

Very nice addition to my gimbal. Improves stability at low angles and takes the weight off my lower back at the same time. The finish blends in well and fits perfectly around the Ronan S. Glad I bought this.

Almost perfect.The reason I dont give it 5 stars are the following:It should have a built in 1/4-20 hole on top next to the Cold shoe mount or have a NATO Rail top .The next, is for the FEIYUTECH A2000. there is a 1/4-20 hole where the clamp hinge sits, the rubber has to be trimmed off about a 1/16" on both sides to clear it, if you dont it will put excess pressure on the hinge and risk hinge failute and crossthreading the clamp during installation.With that said, I drilled my own hole and added a NATO top rail, and trimmed the rubber and I love it.Update: Just took this baby to Disneyland where I did extensive recording of my kid, this handle made it so much easier to hold with one hand and to control the zoom of the sony 18-105 with the other, I was able to get smooth bokeh shoots all the way at 105mmf4, This is why imma uprate my original review to 5 stars.this is more confortable than using the DUAL handle option that comes with this Gimbal, or any other shaft attached handles Ived tried from simplygimbal and smallrig (last picture)

The handle works well with the AK2000 gimbal as long as you attach it in the correct location. The pictures here show where you need to attach it for it to fit snug. If you place it any lower it does not grip the gimbal well enough and could slip. Once properly attached it basically serves to give my gimbal the same "underslung" feature that the more expensive Weebill Lab gimbal has. It attaches very slugly. Made from nice machined aluminum. Multiple mounting holes for attaching other equipment and the top of the handle has a cold shoe mount perfect for mounting a monitor.The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price is honestly just a little high for what is basically a few pieces of aluminum and a few screws. But the quality of this handle is top notch.

Very well made and sturdy. The only problem is for the FeiyuTech AK2000, it does not tighten enough to hold it. It slips with minimal movement and you constantly have to loosen and reposition. I even tried to add material on the inside of the mounting area on top of the rubber and it still did not prevent it from shifting. I believe that even though it states it is compatible, it is not made for it, therefore it is not a good option for those using this gimbal. Ignore the other reviews showing how to position it properly. There is only one area it can tighten and stay and it is along the twist collar that connects the upper and lower parts of the gimbal. It stays but continues to be wobbly.

As a Sony A6400 owner I was a little heated that they dropped the Ronin SC. Let's face it the Ronin S is a tad of the heavy side, especially on all day shoots. And I was just about to sell it but then I saw a video on this handle.This handle solves two major issues I had with the S. 1) The weight distribution. With this handle it makes it like a Ronin M hybrid. Or like the Zhiyun Crane. I can literally film holding the S like a flashlight now. Less stress on my back. And 2). It has a hot shoe on it which brings the monitor closet to my eyes and dead center instead of off to the left or right depending on which side you mount it on.There's definitely pricier ones but you can't beat this price point. Honestly this makes my Ronin S feel like a whole new gimbal. Just get it and thank me later.

Perfect addition to my Gimbal, eliminating the need for a new one by just adding this grip...love third party products when they are good quality and this IS good quality..

Worked great for the Ronin S. It did leave some scuff marks but nothing that made me worry. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for the Ronin SC.

Excellent gimbal especially given the price, has all the features you need and most importantly it does a great job stabilising the image. purchase through amazon was seamless and postage was fast.
