Wouldn’t stay connected
The item appears to be great quality but it just wouldn’t stay connected. Had to wiggle at connector to keep connecting back up.

Works very well, fully seats, and have volume control
I had ordered the same adapter from another Amazon vendor. It did not work. 3.5mm plug did not fully seat into the adapter and as such audio would cut out, increase to full volume, and could not use volume controls.I returned it, and tried this manufacturer. Immediately could tell the difference as the 3.5mm plug fully seated and clicked into place. Excellent sound and excellent volume control as it should be. Highly recommend this adapter.

This adapter works great with my iPhone X,now I can use my Beats headphone to listen to music or speak on the phone.Also I use this in my car as my iphone does not have a 3.5 mm aux port to car audio,this adapter is small, durable and sounds great.

It works!
I had tried a different adapter where the connection seemed to always detach, and I thought it was about my phone case but then realized it was that adapter! This one functions perfectly so as long as you're not charging your phone, you can listen to regular retro vintage ear buds YAY!

No Volume Control, skip/last song feature with Bose Sport Earbuds on iphone Xs Max
No Volume Control with Bose Sport Earbuds on iPhone Xs Max running iOS 12.2. Disappointed.Tried this, Apple branded, and a couple of others, can’t seem to find it. If a volume and skip/last song feature is your goal, this product will not work.

I know it's more expensive, but BUY IT!
I bought probably 5 headphone jack adapters before learning this lesson. The cheap ones stopped working in a matter of days, some had scratchy loud noises right off the bat. I finally bought this one, which was twice as much, but promised to work better and it was true. I have used it for 5 days, without a single issue. Sound quality is perfectly clear, no grey noise, or one headphone all of a sudden cutting out. Just bite the bullet, and buy the expensive one the first time, it will save you hassle and money in the long run.

It works with my Iphone XR to play music through my AUX input via car!!
This works great with my iphone XR since there is no headphone jack anymore, it works great connecting my aux cable to my older 2008 camry hybrid aux input. Music plays great with good sound quality for half the price of other quality Dongles. No issues with static either. Only down side is it does not have the charge input as well which i read interferes with sound quality anyway, I hope it continues to work well for my long car trips!

Very nice product
Allowed my daughter to use her iphone 6s ear puds on her iPhone XR, since her cat chewed on the lightning ear puds.
