Works great.
To hook it with hearing aids

Phonak tv connector
First, it does work and automatically connected to Bluetooth. Buuut, there is no remote for this one so I have to get up and down to adjust volume and my hearing aides do not block the tv when calls come in or out. I have to get up and either turn it off or turn volume all the way down. This is completely unacceptable and inconvenient. It’s ridiculous this doesn’t come with a remote. Sending it back.

A real step up for watching TV & movies
* It autoconnected to my L90's immediately and with no action required by Yours Truly.* Now I can follow programs and movies 100% without subtitles. Without this device and without subtitles, there was no hope for me following the dialog.* With the device connected to Audio Out or Headphones on the TV, one has the same access to volume control and muting for commerials via the TV's remote that one has when listening without it.* I choose to turn my phone's Bluetooth off while using the device so that notifications from the phone do not step on the speech from the TV. (when a phone notification comes through, the TV strean gets interrupted for about 4 seconds)* I bought a second one of these so that now I have one attached to the kitchen TV and the other attached to the living room TV about 25 feet away. I can move between devices transparently with no action on my part needed. The L90's just magically attach to the closest TV.

Working so far
NO MANUAL/INSTRUCTIONS!!!There is a “4-step QuickStart sheet- nothing detailed, no help text, nothing…My tv, which is using a soundbar driven by the optical audio output, doesn’t have an 1/8” audio jack; everything I tried, when the tv connector linked to my ear pieces, the tv would turn off the tv speakers. The sound bar had a jack, but it was to input audio not as an output. I finally found the audio output rca jack pair, used a red/white rca pair cable to provide audio to the tv connector, and it works…sound is tinny, but that could be the setting on my hearing aids, or their battery level. I did discover that the iPhone app created a new profile, which allows me to adjust the volume from my iPhone…I may try reversing the audio outputs and use the rca cable as input to the soundbar, and the optical cable as input to the tv connector to see if there is any improvement in the sound quality. It is “working so far”, will update after I swap the cables and change batteries…

Return or replace
The device worked fine for a while I bought it in Feb and it became defective 2 weeks after the return date the sound goes on and off. I tried your suggestions but it did not fix the problem.

Useless blue tooth Device
Very unreliable. Loses Bluetooth connection constantly, despite sitting less than 10 feet away. If walk away and return, may or may not establish connection again. Poor quality product and would not recommend. Unfortunately, appears to be only device that works with phonak hearing aids.
