Really loved when I first receive. However, after a week it became harder to open as I think the wood began to expand. I had to sand it down to make it workable. Other than that, it's a cool little box to hide little items. If not for the issues with the wood expanding, I would have given 5 stars.

When it came in, it took a bit to figure out how to solve it but after some time, got it. Bought this for my son and put his gift card inside. It even took him awhile to figure it out. Now he keeps his money inside. The design of this box makes it look almost as if it's a jewelry box. Made very well and love the look of it. Has an antique look to it. Even after being tossed around and played with, the box still locks with no issues.

I’m glad I ordered this—the recipient had fun with it. It took exactly the right amount of time to solve. Not so much that the solver loses interest/gets frustrated but not so little that its entertainment value was lost. Just be aware that a standard gift card will not fit in the larger compartment. Good for coins, candy, or other very small gifts.

My kids are VERY into treasure hunting and brain puzzles lately. They absolutely thought this was the coolest thing! And my mind was blown when I struggled with it for 15 min, handed it to my kid, and somehow it was solved 3 min later!! This was a huge hit, and they’ve been having tons of fun hiding little secrets inside.

I showed a few friends and they didn’t know how to open it so it works the size of it is around 3.3 inches yes I did measure. For the small one it’s 1.10 inches. The height of the big is less than 1.10. And the width is 1.9.

My teenager loved trying to solve this puzzle box. Space is big enough to hold folded up money or small item (2×1×1). She now uses it to hide money from her little brother.
