Once the bead is broken and the bag begins to swell, the time till it pops is unpredictable. Sometimes it's a few minutes. Sometimes it's only a few seconds. The smell is like rotten eggs. It's stinks but doesn't last very long at all. The smell doesn't spread out very far either.

Absolute junk, do not waste your money on these. Came packaged in a regular envelope, half were already leaking from just being shipped. The ones that were still intact wouldn’t even pop, they would just swell up a bit then nothing.
