Nice enough but too expensive
A nice beginners set of chunky knitting needles and yarn. Just enough for a good sized scarf, if not too wide. (10-12 stiches)Shame that it comes in pink and not more neutral colours. For that price they could have included enough wool for both scarf and hat. It would be nice if there was the possibility to order extra wool.

Excellent value, bought this set for my granddaughter so ...
Excellent value , bought this set for my granddaughter so I could teach her to knit . The needles were a good size for her and sturdy for her to use .

Perfect for 10 yr old girl
My daughter is learning to knit and LOVES this! Soft wool, good size needles and easy to knit a long section in short amount of time. A super present for a crafty girl.

Why pink?
Many girls old enough to knit have moved beyond pink to new favourite colours and boys may even want to learn too. Why not a crowd pleasing rainbow yarn? Or pretty much any colour but pink...

Good first knitting kit but not enough wool!
My daughter is only 5 but was determined to learn how to knit and loves pink so was thrilled with this. The needles are satisfyingly chunky - but the picture shows a long woooly scarf and hat - we only had enough wool to knit half a scarf! Now need to order another whole kit as can't match the wool... Will continue to use needles but don't need two sets of them. So please manufacturer put another ball of wool in - this is not a cheap set and it's v disappointing that we can't make the item with the materials provided.

Good fun
My 2 loved this, and it was great fun for me explaining how to knit. Great first starter knit for girls aged 7upwards
