I ordered a 5x even though I wear a 2-3 x. But I read the sizes and ordered according to that and thank goodness it fits. I am wary of ordering clothes on line as typically it never seems to be the right size. So yes it fit but I don't typically wear a size 5x so for that i rated it as somewhat small. It is very nice dress and I think you can wear it quite a few different places. I am a bigger girl, obviously, and the idea or wearing a dress with my waistline was not a thrill to me but this actually does help camouflage some extra width with the color black for one and the cut of the dress.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I love this dress. I read the reviews and ordered 2 sizes up. I wear a 22/24 (3x) at Lane Bryant and Macy's but ordered a 5x which fit PERFECTLY!

I love this dress! I ordered it for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Very comfortable but stylish and I got a LOT of compliments on it! One of my girlfriends is going to borrow this for a special dinner she has to attend. Even though it's cotton, it would still be appropriate for a fancy dinner or cocktail party. You could easily dress it up or down with a belt, shoes and cute clutch. I wore gold sandal wedges and carried a black clutch with gold closure. It was perfect! I am considering wearing this dress to my husband's company Christmas party which is always cocktail attire. I paid attention to the other reviews and ordered a slightly bigger size than I would normally wear and it fit perfectly. I really recommend this dress!I was asked to review this product for an Amazon gift card - truthfully, I would have reviewed it anyway - I like it that much!

LOVED this dress!! I am 5'2 and 195lbs and I wore it to my boyfriends work party. It felt like sturdy fabric and wasn't cheaply made. I am short so it was a LITTLE long for me but it is winter so I didn't mind. It had room to spare, my waist is 39 inches and my bra size is 42DDD so maybe I could have gotten a 3XL instead of 4XL but it's hard to tell online so I went with the 4X.

I ordered this dress & did order 2 sizes bigger thankfully I listened and it fit perfect. Wore it to a dinner w my bf and he asked me to marry him which was totally a surprise glad I wore this dress bc we took lots of pictures! Def a keeper!!

This dress runs very small. I wear a 22 usually and I got a 6x after reading other reviews. The 6x was a just a little big in the waist but perfect in the bust so I'm happy with it. I love this dress. I wish they had it in more colors. I bought it in purple for a costume but I'll be wearing it again. And I might order another color.

Quality look for a steal! This was purchased for my daughter to wear at a semi-formal college banquet. She needed a dress that was dressy and modest and affordable (this dress was all). She does not like to wear dresses or really dress up however this dress was perfect. She tried it on and she said she felt like a princess. She also said the dress was very comfortable to dance in all night long! She is a approx. 5ft.2in 180, dress size 12/14 (full chest & belly) and we purchased a size 3x based on reviews. The dress did fit her well, however I do believe she also could've gone down 1 size. We made the outfit complete by dressing it up with a silver/sapphire necklace set, silver shoes, and silver wrap/shaw (all also purchased on Amazon). She got many compliments and she looked amazing! The price is right and this dress is very versatile. She also wore this to a more casual event, pairing it with plastic chunky jewelry and summer sandals and it looked very cute.

I really love this dress. It looks so good on. The color is as shown in picture. I have a large chest and the top of this fits great. Even with the sweetheart top it gives great coverage up top. The waist is perfect, and it hits just below my knee. I wear a 2X, so according to the size chart I ordered a 6X in the dress but it was way to big. I sent it back and exchanged it for the 4X which is perfect.
