Learning how-to use the focus is a bit of a learning curve, not difficult but essential.
Christmas day we used it at the family gathering, everyone was amazed at the (sometimes gross) clarity of human hairs.

This device is impressive for the price.
I gave it as a gift but did set it up for the recipient. It took a few tries to get the device to communicate with his iphone but once configured, it worked easily. The magnification is impressive. A more durable stand would be an asset. Overall, the recipient was pleased and I would buy it again.

You get what you pay for.
It is awkward to focus and not suited for anything that is not stationary and/or more than 6 inches away from camera, To use simply as amusement and not for fine photography, then this is not an extravagant purchase for fun.

Good enough for the money
Only issue is that it have a stretched resolution and can figure out how to adjust it. Works great, very easy to connect. Worth the money.
