FlashQ Trigger Kit (T2, Black)

For my Fuji x100f it fits perfectly. Great small size and it just works. Simple but effective. Just turn power on, than hold both buttons until you see lights flash, do the same for the transmitter than press any 1 button for normal operation then start taking awesome photos, love it.

I wanted the ability to shoot faster shutter speeds for my Hasselblad H4D, and be able to get rid of the cord and hold the flash off to the side. Got these last night, charged them, and tried out using 1/500th of a second exposure time, f5.6, rear-curtain sync, and these units were fast enough to work well. The only issue I had is that I was trying a new wide-angle lens and the flash didn't cover the entire area well, but that's my issue; I need to spread the light out with a diffuser. I'm happy with this because it fits in my camera bag on the camera so I won't need to keep taking it on and off.There was another review that I read which said the test button didn't fire the flash immediately. But the instructions don't say that the test button should fire the flash, as I understand them it is just a way to verify that the receiver is paired up properly.Another review said that the power button is difficult to use and the batteries die because it is easy to leave them on. The instructions say that if you power it by pressing the power button for a short time (like 2 seconds) there is an auto-shutoff feature that should save the batteries. If you power it on by holding the power button longer (I think 5 seconds) it will NOT power them off automatically.I can't talk about battery life because I just got them, but when I turned them back on after they were off all night, they showed (via green LED) that the batteries were full still.So I think possibly just getting used to how they operate is necessary and the other reviewer just missed those subtleties in the instructions.

I HAVE SEVERAL FLASHES THAT I REALLY LOVE, BUT THESE DIDN'T WORK WITH THEM, BECAUSE THE FLASHES DON'T HAVE THE 3 PRONGED CONTACT POINTS AND INSTEAD ONLY HAVE THE ONE CENTER POINT. AS A RESULT, THE RECEIVER DIDN'T WORK WITH THE FLASHES I OWNED, AND HAD TO PURCHASE A COUPLE NEW HEADS TO WORK THESE FLASHQ SET UP. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR FLASH HEADS, HAVE 3 PRONGS OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE STUCK WITH RETURNING OR BUYING NEW FLASH UNITS.

Works as advertised. The units paired easily and are solidly built. The ability to recharge Over USB is a plus.

What a practical idea. A small flash trigger for a mirrorless camera. However, mine, out of the blue, stopped turning on. Bummer.

These are tiny and they do their simple job really well.

I want to like this product very much. What’s not to like about small and portable but it simply doesn’t work for me. It consistently misfires. I’ve tried “changing” the channels by re-pairing the units and it seemed to help a little but the range is very spotty and inconsistent.I cannot slide the transmitter onto my Olympus GX85 as it seems the hotshoe is too big. It’s very tight on my Fuji XT-3 but I simply cannot get it onto my GX85.I need it to flash every time I ask it to. I’ve missed great shots as a result of the misfiring. Pity.

If you need a simple trigger to mount on your camera and off-camera flash, these may be ideal. No batteries needed, since the units are rechargeable! Small in size, excellent for smaller or larger bodies but especially good on mirrorless cameras.On cameras with leaf shutter lenses, these can sync up to 1/1000, for focal plane shutters, they sync up to 1/250.There is no TTL available, but simple triggering from a distance of just over 30 feet. Will work well inside the studio or on an outside shoot.Oh, the battery life is pretty significant, they claim about 10 hours operation for the receiver per charge and 120 days of standby, and for the transmitter, mounted on your camera, about 80 hours of operation and 120 days standby.I found them very easy to use, would recommend them, and would buy them again.
