Does have marks and easy to install
Change my 2002 Chevy express cargo van with a 5.7l v8 distributor cuz mine didn't have the mark on it I got this one and it got for marks on it for if u want to start the time at top. Died or just simply want to put it n on how ur old one came out put it in and now I'm down doing my spirder injection in my van because it's bad but this was very nice and easy to install the frist time put in fired right up on the mark and have even more power now then I did

Cracked ring on distributor
After installation, I was not able to get my timing adjusted right. Finally after a couple months I took it to a shop and was informed that I need a new distributor because it was cracked and not turning right.

If you need a distributor it worked for me. And it has been working for the past year and a half. I recommend this product.

perfect stick replacement, has brass terminals!
This distributor is bea. Has brass inserts for the cap. Gm should have thought of this! Im very familiar with the distributor on a sbc vortec, so the swap was a 15min job. Set the cam offset and let her rip. Drove the truck for 12hrs pulling an 18 foot car trailer to West TX without a hitch.

Mostly good
Easy to install and fixed the problem mostly. The cap was faulty and missed on one cylinder -Things happen. Got a new one from a local parts shop and all is good.
