Old River Road Holiday Cookie Cutter Set, Copper, Set of 5

First of all, this cookie cutter is HUGE. I usually stay away from cutters this big as I find people are usually reluctant to eat the cookies! However, this one is so pretty that I had to buy it. And it really is a stunner in person! The elegant scroll shaped edges were all even on the cutter I received, and, since it's copper, I have no doubt that it will last me years to come.This cutter would probably work nicely for cutting salt dough for crafts, or something like that as well. Four Stars!EDIT: Adding on to this review to include a review of Old River Road Petite Snowflake Cookie Cutter Set, Copper, Set of 3.So, after enjoying my large Old River Road Regal Snowflake, I decided to give the small snowflake cookie cutter set a try, and am very sorry to say that I was so disappointed in them that I am going to send them back. The cutters arrived in a nice little metal box that I, at first, assumed was going to provide protection for my newly purchased cutters, but, sadly, was mistaken. The box was too small for two of the three shapes and those two were bent and distorted in order to fit into it. I tried bending the cutters into their proper shapes, but was not particularly successful, and for the money I spent on them, I concluded that they were not worth it. I'm sorry to say that these cutters were so disappointing, but for over five dollars per cutter, I had better be getting perfect quality cutters. So, for the Old River Road Petite Snowflake Cookie Cutter Set, Copper, Set of 3, I'd have to rate at a very disappointing 2 stars.

Overall these seem like very nice cutters - the size is good for a cookie (not too huge, and not tiny). They were packaged in a sturdy box, but even so, the symmetry of the flakes was off... like they were bent, but not because the packaging was flimsy; I don't dare try and "fix" them for fear I'll make them worse. For some designs the bending wouldn't be noticeable, but for a snowflake it kind of sticks out. I will keep and use them, because hey - it's going to be a cookie. But I was kind of disappointed that they were slightly malformed.

The PRESENT cookie cutter measures 4.5 x 3.75. This one is one of my very favorites. It's such a fun design with the 3-tiered gifts. I love the large size of the Old River Road cookie cutters and they are very good quality as well. Unfortunately Amazon plugs in 6x5 on almost all their cookie cutters without having the actual measurement, so I try to always leave a review with the actual measurement for future customers. I generally purchase cookie cutter based on size so that I can get a large one which allows for lots of detail work. Enjoy this fun cookie cutter!

I loved the look of these as soon as I saw them in my gourmet magazine. When I went to use them, they were a pain in the butt. I would use them again only if I wasn't making 10 different types of cookies. They are good for one batch and then decorate. The curls do not come out, they get stuck. So I used the end of a wooden skewer, which made marks no matter how slight I was. So that slowed me down, way down.

I love the size of this - quite large. It makes stunning cookies. But the cut dough is large, so you have to be careful moving it, and moving the cookies when cooling. Thick metal = sturdy. Not too many nooks and crannies in the cut cookie, but a couple of parts that you have to be careful not to tear off.

I am all about these cookie cutters. I make a LOT of cookies, especially gingerbread cookies and use cutters all the time. These are strong and very well made. I don't even like to use my others now that Old River has spoiled me. I have bought several of these now and when I can will buy more. So happy with every purchase from this seller.

I love the Star of David! It's a cookie cutter and also a beautiful year round decoration!Please ask the manufacturer to also make a small Star of David cookie cutter. Approximately 3 inches. Thank you! If they manufacture a small Star of David, please let me know!

My aunt is the family chef. She was a caterer and has cooked from scratch everything always. I love getting her little things to experiment with, but there isn't much in the kitchen she doesn't have. She loved these. Actually gushed when I gave them to her. She can't wait for next Christmas to decorate the tree with a bunch of snowflake cookies.
