Excellent little amp with lots of popwer for its size. Two small niggles, but still 5 stars.
A functional, no-frills item which is absolutely ideal if all you want is a genuinely small but powerful amp - and it IS surprisingly powerful. The controls work smoothly without sudden drops or increases in tone or volume.I have two small niggles about it, but neither are worth deducting a star ...1) The power lead is very short and has thick cable which can make it a bit tricky to tuck away inside the compartment. The Velcro tie is a useful addition.2) The carrying handle is ridiculously inflexible and as tough as a spring if you manage to get your fingers between it and the top. It can be physically painful to try to carry it that way as your digits are steadily crushed. However, the amp is small and light but I'd be wary of a child trying to use that handle .... I'll be trying to see if I can loosen or modify it or even change it. If I do, I'll update this review. Those nigg;les aside - this is a great little amp for practice.

Great piece of kit with good clean sound
Bought one of these a month ago and really pleased. It has a great clean sound, is VERY loud and built like a tank. It also looks good with a smart buisnesslike appearance. Not overlaiden with effects (other Laney models and the Vox VT series have these) but if, like me, you use an effects pedal they you just want a good clean channel. There is an output socket so if you need to it can drive a cabinet (dangerously loud!). It also has a CD/MP3 input for jamming along to tracks, plus a headphone socketMy only query would be for a beginner it is really too loud and heavy for bedroom use. It is more for someone moving onto gigging where it has plenty of power.I use a fender strat and it seems to really suit the clean twangy sound.Thoroughly recommended.

Useless if played with pedals and processors
I have been playing guitar for 8 years, tried a lot of clean and pre effect amps. Here my review for this one, bought a while ago from amazon,1. Good clean tone, No complains.2. Pathetic overdrive, useless,3. Playing with BossDS1 pedal, even more pathetic when played with pedals specially distortion pedals. Go for an amp with basic clean sound if you use processor or pedals, with this one, you wont even be able to practice at home if you are a pedal/processor guitarist.Peace

Great amp for practice. Would recommend it to anyone looking for an amp around this budget.
I've been using this amp for 2 years now, and I absolutely love it.It's cool for its price. The clean tone ain't bad. The OD is decent. In fact, by increasing the treble and lowering the bass considerably with the drive switch on, you can get a pretty good overdrive tone. While you certainly can't expect to play much heavy stuff with that, it works well with classic rock stuff.Works quite well with processors.I'D RATHER GO FOR THIS AMP RATHER THAN LOCALLY-MADE AMPS AND CUBES OF HIGHER WATTAGE.

It's pretty good
For the price of ₹4K it's really a great deal to have, but with that I want to conclude as it doesn't have the reverb/delay functions you won't find the tone you're searching for if you plugged in a raw guitar but with pedals or with any effect units you'll get that sound anyways go for it if you have a low budget.

Laney LX10

Compact and light for beginners
Decent 10 watt amp. Volume and drive is so-so.Could have more controls but what the heck it's a low budget amp so can overlook. It may distort music on high volume.Go for desktop or other speakers in case you want it to double up as a music player.

Great for your first amplifier.
I had a tight budget since and needed a small but good sounding amplifier. This turned out much better than I expected. Build is good, it feels tough. Overdrive is decent and the amp sounds quiet clean. The sound is loud enough for practising in a room. Great for the money.

Laney LX 10 Amplifer
Good product, very good sound. The distortions are good for Guitar, nor food violins. I tried plucking the violin, the distortion sounds like that used by guitarists!

Great for practice
Serious sound quality for it's weight and size. Decent output. Quite robust. Still stands to the Laney standards. Gives a better alternative to the pricey Marshals.

Appena sufficiente.
C’è molto di meglio... per lo studiare è appena sufficiente. Aggiungere distorsivi e pedali simili non serve perché falsa il suono.

The sound quality is very good without distortions
This is a compact amp and I am using it mainly for playing my mobile audio but you can connect a guitar too with it. The sound quality is very good without distortions.
