Great sounds, colourful and a lovely playful learning tool.

Absolutely recommend. Still a brilliant book. Brings a lot of joy at bedtime.

This attaches easily to our pram (Bugaboo Fox), and provides good distraction/entertainment for our daughter, but let’s see if that lasts beyond a few days. The cord seems resilient enough to withstand her pulling on it, but as you can see from the picture, she was able to bite off chunks easily, which came as a surprise. Given that these books are for children who are in the teething phase, I would have expected material that could survive nibbles. That explains the 4 star rating.

Dear Zoo Noisy Book I bought the book as a treat to the children in the nursery where I work as they like the original one. I know young children enjoy interactive book but it got torn off by the toddlers. I think the one with the sound would be more popular. I read the reviews before I bought the book, I am pleased that the book arrived earlier than the stated schedule and in excellent condition.The size of this book is larger than the original one. So it is much better to be used in a small group setting (up to eight so each child can have his/her turn). I read the book today with a group of children from 2 to 4 years old. They were eager to listen to me reading the book and let them guess, open the flaps and press the buttons for the sound.I got it in a cheaper deal and I consider it a good investment.Some people may think it is wrong for the author to use 'He' only for all the animals. Except the lion with the mane, all the other animals can be male or female. I can use either 'It' or 'She'. If I read the book only to older children, I can also ask them to describe the appearance of each animal, what do they eat, where do they live in the wild... I think the book is helpful in promoting reading to young children before they become addicted to tablets. or mobile phones.

I have just received this book, it’s a Christmas present for my 2 year old. It’s a lovely book, however the sound quality isn’t great which is a massive shame…

Brought for my neice 1st birthday we love this story but she is obsessed with roaring like a lion so thought this would be perfect she loves it and takes everywhere also learning the other animal noises too highly recommend

It's a great size and the flaps throughout the story are great. Yes it's a completely different size to the standard version but that is to be expected, I feel, given that it is a 'noisy book'. My biggest criticism is the poor sound quality. The reason that I bought this version is to play the sound of the zoo animals. However, the quality and actual volume are both very poor. Therefore, I do not feel that I would recommend this big to anyone that wants to buy a 'noisy book' as I have previously purchased ones that are louder, with better quality sound but for less money
